CashCrate

By: Joel & Josiah

What Is CashCrate?

CashCrate is a GPT website that lets people make money in several ways. GPT stands for getting Paid To — an online rewards program that rewards users with points for expressing thoughts and viewpoints with survey-takings, video-watchings, task-completions, radio-listening, and others.

CashCrate is similar to other GPT sites where people can make money mentioned above. It also includes shopping and referring others.

Why Listen To Us?

My name is Josiah, and this is my Dad, Joel.

Together, we make up the team here at Scamrisk.

If you’ll let me bother you for two minutes, I’d like to quickly explain why I’m even here writing this review.

In early 2020, I had just graduated from college & had no real career prospects.

I knew I was destined for something more, but I had no clue how I was going to make it happen.

I had this sinking feeling in my gut all the time… like the “big man upstairs” had accidentally given me the version of life where I’d be mediocre forever, instead of the one where I was, ya know – happy & fulfilled.

Anyway…

I had fiddled around with some different online businesses in college:

Some random MLMs, a bit of affiliate marketing, a (failed) dropshipping store or two, all the usual suspects.

Even my dad had been involved in MLMs back in the day… selling knives & other random nonsense people (probably) didn’t need.

All I really wanted was to find something that was going to actually work for me.

Maybe those things had worked for others, but for me it all turned up a fat “0” in the bank account department.

So I searched! And searched… and searched… and searched…

And eventually, I somehow stumbled upon a program that promised to help me build an income online (read about it here if you’re curious).

I didn’t really want to be “rich”.

The thought of making a reliable $5K per month & not having to worry about clocking in to a 9-to-5 ever again was all I needed.

Sure, there were people in the program doing high-6 and low-7 figures per year… but that wasn’t what I was out for.

I just wanted to provide freedom for myself, and if I was lucky, take my family along for the ride.

Fast forward a few days and a few phone calls & I was enrolled!

Here’s the first “money making website” I put up:

I built that site in 2020, and it still makes me $1,500 per month. It’s a basic 5 page website I built based on a template the program provides.

The best part to me? My dad and I get to do it all together!

So between the:

  1. Ease of reaching $5-$10K per month in income online
  2. Straightforward-ness of the system to do it
  3. Fact that I get to do it w/ my family

Is why I recommend local lead generation as my #1 business model for making money online.

Sure, it takes some work and dedication – but anyone that tells you that there’s a business out there that requires no work is selling you a lemon.

I’m not saying you need to sign up for the same program I did, but I would definitely recommend giving the business model a peek!

Is CashCrate Llc Legit & Safe? Is it a Scam?

Yes, CashCrate is one hundred percent legitimate. It is not a scam. It is a legal and lawful reward and survey site. Having said that, please take note and bolster up the thought that this is not a get-rich-quick kind of a scheme.

This company’s fundamental concept is to know your earning goals. Some dare says that the entity has open-handed payouts and unconventional ideas and compared to other companies with similar business models, it’s faster to hit one’s earning goals in this company than most other options found online.

The way to do it is to always keep in mind to have a diversified plan of action. It’s advisable to mix up survey-taking and referral programs. By doing so, you can best optimize your time and this guarantees favorable earnings.

Some members use their social media accounts to show their ads. However, this cannot be stressed enough — CashCrate is not a way to get filthy rich quickly and have more than enough to live on. Do not let any ads you see around persuade you into believing that claim.

This company is basically another income stream to help you earn more cash alongside other money-making methods. Let’s hope that message has come across as crystal clear.

Did CashCrates Llc shut down?

Cash Crate’s GPT program has according to official figures shut down last 2019, on April 1st. But their website content was made into a directory of methods on how to earn money online.

It is important to remember that when “the part CashCrate’s GPT program” on their website closed down, several members who had not reached their minimum payout levels were not able to redeem their balances for a final remittance or payment.

It did not provide and put out final remittance or payment for these balances. It goes without saying that this caused the ire of many members. These irate folks called out the whole program as a scam.

The CashCrate web page in its present state first and foremost exists to collect commissions from the referral of the users.

If you look into their website, you will notice that proper privacy policies and disclosures are nowhere to be found. Therefore, several people and reviews do not recommend using the account of CashCrate.

How does CashCrate make money?

According to a review, CashCrate Llc, people can make as much money they like. The amount of money you earn will all depend on how much elbow grease you will put into this. The more surveys and offers a member takes up the more money the member makes.

Again, several reviews reiterate this — do not ever think that you will make oodles of cash regularly by getting into CashCrate or by simply taking surveys. Perhaps, that illusion and promise are what put off many people. One review reports, the fact is — the commissions that you receive are a lot less.

How to Make Money With CashCrate?

There are several ways on how you can make money with Cash Crate. Let’s talk about all of these practices at length.

Make Money With CashCrate

Surveys

1. Surveys. Taking surveys is very popular. There are a lot of survey sites as it is one of the most sought-after means of making money on CashCrate. This is as simple as completing the surveys. Please bear in mind that CashCrate is not providing you the surveys but they are offering these all on behalf of or in the interest of other companies.

Offers

2. Offers. This is the first method people can earn money. There are two types of taking up offers — free and no cost and paid. Let’s discuss the free offers, first. You can go to their website and look for offers that pay out the most.

These offers are given by other companies once you sign up. Then you can go there and pick out offers that you prefer. There are also paid offers there — this type requires you to pay from your own wallet in order to get them.

Generally, this kind of offer can help you earn more money. But that would entail shelling out money from your own pocket. It’s pretty quick to finish an offer. Usually, you could earn up to $2 above and get done in as low as five minutes.

Shopping

3. Shopping. The Shopping tab is also one method to earn extra cash. Well, to make it clear, you don’t technically make or earn money through shopping. Essentially what happens here is you get to save money while you do online shopping on certain e-commerce websites.

Referrals

4. Referrals. This is a great method of earning extra cash. Their referral system has two tiers.  And it has multiple levels and payout for every level.

For the first level or first tier, you get paid 20% of offers earnings and for the second level or the second tier, you can get 10% of offer earnings. Aside from that, you can get bonuses as well.

Games, Videos and Bonuses

5. Games, Videos, and bonuses. Speaking of bonuses, you can actually get paid by watching videos and playing games on some sites on the internet.

No kidding. You watch videos and then get paid. Likewise, you can play games on a certain site and get cash for doing so. These types of bonus services are offered by means of third-party services.

You can earn some cash with Bonuses the same way you do so with offers. You can also earn more points by gaining victories in an online tournament. Sounds fun.

Contests

6. Contests. Care to join a contest? You could earn money by joining one. Yup, that’s right. Start with just one contest and you don’t need to join all the contests.

They have contests every month as well as contests on a daily basis and several other contests regularly. Keep an eye on them. If you get lucky and win, you can make big bucks.

Is Cash Crates real or is it a scam?

cash crates review

As mentioned, CashCrate was a legit reward program. It was NOT a scam. However, it has already shut down and is no longer in business.

CashCrate has been here since 2006 and has over two million members. In spite of that length of time and being around for so long, one cannot find a huge amount of information about them on the internet. Except for what’s written on their website.

According to one CashCrate review, the company does seem to manage like many other companies with similar rewards programs. A member gets paid to try offers, shop online through cashback portals, refer friends, answer and complete surveys and interact in social media sites, join contests, watch videos and play games.

At the moment, one review says that several huge companies want to promote their products or get customer feedback online. They usually pay companies like Cashcrate to do this for them. Then, the company will use a portion of that money to pay its members to answer survey questions or to check out promo products and even reward customers for online shopping.

It’s free and there is definitely no joining fee. And once you hit $20USD, you can request a payout. You get $1 right off the bat when you sign up with your legit email and password. Remember, no one below 13 years old is allowed to join.

CashCrate Reviews

When a rewards program has a lot of market research surveys, polls, and other non-offer ways to earn some points – you can gather a payout without the need to get your credit card.

All of the reward programs have offer related bonuses that are alike– you can earn thousands of points.

However, the complicated part about these offer-related bonuses is that the company that they have partnered with has very complex cancellation processes and policies. It’s also very complicated should you forget to cancel during the trial.

Either case, chances are, you pay for a service that you never wanted. There are times when a customer can get back the payment through disputes or bringing the matter up to customer service. This is too tedious and cumbersome.

One review says this is a structural problem of Cash Crate. The function of such a setup is flawed.

Other Cash Crates Reviews

Some say that joining the company is a waste of time.

This is not an isolated bad CashCrate review. Other personal finance bloggers gave CashCrate a go signal. Their verdict in a certain review — it comes way off and leaves a bad taste on the mouth.

They found out that there weren’t too many methods to earn a payout except through taking offers.

You choose the ones that you want to do, you finish and complete the entire action, which is listed under the description, and then you stay put until CashCrate transfers the funds into your account.

It was said in a review that the offers themselves have a whole lot of circles to go through sometimes. Some of them sign up for a service, cancel it and as mentioned earlier, the cancellation did not take effect.

They call in have the reversed charges — and took up a whole lot of time that nobody wants to waste. Obviously, most financial bloggers do not recommend CashCrate.

CashCrate Review: Is It Legit Or a Waste of Time?

As previously mentioned, to earn in this company all you have to do is browse for stuff to do on the site and earn. Here, you can earn through getting a percentage for referrals, answering surveys, or when shopping.

It’s like one of those deals where you have to spend and shell out money in order to make money. Other ways of earning cash are through earning points and redeeming these points for awards.

But when it comes to earning points and redeeming for rewards, it seems to be a lot harder here compared to the companies with similar programs.

You have to go through an obstacle course to get a reward. For that reason, some reviews say it’s better to spend your time elsewhere.

CashCrate Review Is It Legit

In comparison, a lot of other sites, if not all, rely on a combination of offers, surveys on survey sites, and other point-earning ways, CashCrate’s source is mostly through completing offers. One of the uncertainties of signing up for offers was that some folks get into trouble getting out of those offers.

Completing offers can be a fine way to take home some quick buck. These offers may require you to sign up for sweepstakes, check out some free samples, or sign up for a mailing list.

In exchange for providing your personal information, you may only receive 10 cents or maybe two dollars. It really differs and is dependent on other factors.

While most offers are free, there are some that require you to pay or give your credit card information for something like trial memberships or magazine subscriptions. One review warned the readers, the offers are worth much more — perhaps over $10 USD.

But, you’re spending money upfront, and in some cases, you need to cancel a trial before a certain date or get charged more. This is something that you need to be very much aware of, or you’ll end up losing money instead.

Are You Ready to Try Cashcrate?

Try Cashcrate

Cashcrate has been called a scam or a fraud by a lot of folks out there. It makes claims that you may be able to make oodles of money.

It also claims that some users make a thousand bucks or even more every month. While it may be true, that some actually make that much, BUT they are just a small group.

Some say that the company has given out more than $4 million to its 7 million members. If you do the math — that’s equivalent to $2 USD for one member in total.

Cashcrate is good to try if you’re bored — once in a while and if you just want to kill time. However, if you’re looking for a regular income to pay your bills, you won’t get much from Cashcrate. And yet other people have different experiences.

If your curiosity is piqued, there’s no harm in signing up, try it for an hour or so and check out if it’s worth more of your time or not. It’s free anyway. It’s all your choice.
