Bruce Springsteen Net Worth

The one thing that’s well-known about ultra high net worth individuals (UHNWs) – the folks worth at least $30 million USD – is that virtually ALL of them have some part of their fortune in real estate.

Many of the more famous rich people and “celebrity entrepreneurs” actually got their start in real estate. And that’s great for them! Not so much for us…

See, more millionaires are created during recessions than any other part of the economic cycle. Which is cool, except the last real recession was 2008, when real estate prices were in the tank and you could buy a whole neighborhood with $100,000.

Now, though, real estate prices are through the roof, and interest rates are skyrocketing too. So how does the everyday person start building a massive net worth in an economy like this one?

Have you considered Digital Real Estate?

The internet’s been around for decades, but the possibility of actually owning high-value pieces of property ON the internet is fairly new.

In other words, it’s a wide open playing field…but it won’t stay that way forever.

Here’s a quick summary of how Digital Real Estate works:

You invest a little money (maybe around $100) to either purchase or build a piece of “land” on the internet.

You specifically place this “land” in a high-traffic area, where lots of people pass through (just like traditional real estate, it’s all about Location, Location, Location).

The folks who pass through your “land” all happen to be looking for a specific product or service, so you “rent” your land to a business owner who happens to offer that product or service.

The business owner pays you $500 to $2,000 a month to “rent” your Digital Real Estate, because it helps them connect with their ideal customers.

Think of it like buying a strip mall, or an office space, just on the internet, for WAAAAYYY less money and headache.

early Life

Bruce Frederick Joseph Springsteen was born on September 23, 1949, in Long Branch, New Jersey, and grew up in Freehold, New Jersey. He has two younger siblings. His catholic upbringing significantly impacted his music, and he attended the St. Rose of Lima Catholic School in New Jersey. His first love for music was sparked by Elvis Presley, who appeared on “The Ed Sullivan Show” when he was just seven years old and motivated him to pursue a career in the music industry. At seventeen, Bruce Springsteen was injured on his motorcycle and missed the U.S. draft because of his concussion. He did not serve in Vietnam because of his trauma.

Bruce Springsteen Career Highlights

Springsteen bought his first guitar in 1964 after seeing one on “The Ed Sullivan Show,” this time by the Beatles, who had affected him once more. A short time later, he joined a group named the Rogues and began playing at Freehold, New Jersey venues. Until after that year, when his mother borrowed and gave him a $60 Kent guitar (the subject of his song “The Wish”), he had no instrument.

Springsteen has also performed with the Castiles, Earth, Steel Mill, the Sundance Blues Band, Bruce Springsteen Band, and the Sundance Blues Orchestra in the 1960s and early 1970s. That’s when his live performances got him noticed, but so did the fact that he could come up with tunes all by himself.

Following a chance encounter with talent scout John Hammond who had also signed Bob Dylan, music entrepreneur Clive Davis signed Bruce Springsteen to Columbia Records in 1972. Only a few months after the band’s founding, Springsteen formally dubbed the E Street Band, a group he formed with the support of some of his New Jersey-based musician friends. “Greetings from Asbury Park,” his first studio album, garnered favorable reviews, but its economic success was disappointing.

“The Wild, the Innocent, and the E Street Shuffle” had poor sales despite positive reviews. Springsteen was given a large budget to create a commercially and artistically successful third album.

Six of the album’s 14 months were dedicated to the song “Born to Run.” It debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 list in August 1975. In October, Newsweek and Time profiled Springsteen.

Bruce Springsteen released “Darkness on the Edge of Town” in 1978 and went on a cross-country tour the following year to promote it. “The River” was his first number-one album on the Billboard Pop Albums Chart, and “Nebraska” was a rolling stone’s “Album of the Year” in 1982.

“Born in the USA” is Springsteen’s most famous album. The album sold 15 million copies in the U.S. and 30 million globally.

Fifteen times platinum from the RIAA. “Tunnel of Love,” “Human Touch,” “The Ghost of Tom Joad,” and “Lucky Town.” He won an Oscar for “Streets of Philadelphia” in 1994 and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1999.

In the new millennium, Springsteen’s career flourished. 2002’s “The Rising” was nominated for a Grammy for Best Rock Album. He left the band in the 1990s but returned for the album.

In April 2005, he released his third acoustic album, “Devils & Dust.” Since then, he’s worked on “Magic,” “Working on a Dream,” “Wrecking Ball,” and “High Hopes” (2014).

Springsteen has 20 Grammys, 4 AMAs, 2 Golden Globes, and 1 Oscar.
