But How Did He Make His Money?

The one thing that’s well-known about ultra-high net worth individuals (UHNWs) – the folks worth at least $30 million USD – is that virtually ALL of them have some part of their fortune in real estate.

Many of the more famous rich people and “celebrity entrepreneurs” actually got their start in real estate. And that’s great for them! Not so much for us…

See, more millionaires are created during recessions than any other part of the economic cycle. Which is cool, except the last real recession was 2008, when real estate prices were in the tank and you could buy a whole neighborhood with $100,000.

Now, though, real estate prices are through the roof, and interest rates are skyrocketing too. So how does the everyday person start building a massive net worth in an economy like this one? Have you considered Digital Real Estate?

The internet’s been around for decades, but the possibility of actually owning high-value pieces of property ON the internet is fairly new. In other words, it’s a wide-open playing field…but it won’t stay that way forever.

Here’s a quick summary of how Digital Real Estate works:

You invest a little money (maybe around $100) to either purchase or build a piece of “land” on the internet. You specifically place this “land” in a high-traffic area, where lots of people pass through (just like traditional real estate, it’s all about Location, Location, Location).

The folks who pass through your “land” all happen to be looking for a specific product or service, so you “rent” your land to a business owner who happens to offer that product or service.

The business owner pays you $500 to $2,000 a month to “rent” your Digital Real Estate, because it helps them connect with their ideal customers. Think of it like buying a strip mall, or an office space, just on the internet, for WAAAAYYY less money and headache.

Robert Allen Zimmerman popularly known as Bob Dylan was born on the 24th of May, 1941, in Minnesota. This American singer songwriter has helped change the scope of music.

Early rock idols like Elvis Presley and Jerry Lee Lewis inspired Dylan to start his own bands, including the Golden Chords and a band he headed under the nickname Elston Gunn, which he played piano at high school dances.

Greenwich Village bars and cafes were Dylan’s first gigs after moving to New York City in 1961. While attending the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, he tried to be a folk singer, performing country tunes at neighborhood cafes.

After meeting John Hammond, he negotiated a deal with him under Columbia Records to create his first album under the name Bob Dylan in 1962 . In the years that followed, he released plenty of widely praised albums, including Bringing It All Back Home and Highway 61 Revisited in 1965, Blonde on Blonde in 1966, and Blood On The Tracks in 1975. His output continued in the next decades, resulting in classics like Oh Mercy (1989), Time Out of Mind (1997), and Modern Times (2001). (2006).

He released his first album, titled Bob Dylan, in 1962. The album was a commercial failure and had little media coverage. Bob Dylan earned recognition with the release of his second studio album “The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan”.

Many of Dylan’s early songs were made famous by other artists, such as Joan Baez and Peter, Paul & Mary, whose renditions of his classic compositions “Blowin’ in the Wind” and “The Times They Are a Changin‘” helped bring the young artist to a larger audience.

He has also released eight volumes of paintings and drawings since 1994. His stunning artwork has been shown in some of the world’s most prestigious art galleries. And when it comes to his music, he has sold more than 100 million albums, making him one of the most popular singers.

Dylan has also written experimental works like Tarantula, a prose poetry anthology (1971). Autobiography he penned in 2004 titled Chronicles shows his early years in New York and offers peeks of his life in the spotlight. In his memoir, he wrote that he considered adopting the surname Dillon before unexpectedly seeing poems by Dylan Thomas, and deciding upon that less common variant.

The Bob Dylan tour began in earnest in the late 1980s, and he has since played over 3000 shows in the subsequent two decades. In the eyes of many, he’s an icon. There is a constant stream of literary and musical examination of him because of his significant impact on current society.

Dylan has also been honored with various awards. He has won a Golden Globe, ten Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, and the Presidential Medal of Freedom, among other things. He is also the only musician who has ever won a Nobel Prize in literature for the way he uses poetry in his songs. The committee stated that Dylan has created new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition. Dylan was also named a master poet, social critic, and guide for the counterculture generation on the list Time 100: The Most Important People of the Century. Even though he was in his sixties, he continued to release albums, tour, and do stage acts into the 2000s.

Bob Dylan selling 100 percent ownership stake in his entire library to Universal Music Publishing Group was announced in December 2020. This agreement covered all of his rights to the songs in his repertoire, including his copyright claims and the money he earns as the songs’ author. As a result of the agreement, Universal will be able to collect any future revenue due.
