Audiobook Impact Academy Review

You’ve probably seen their super flashy marketing on YouTube and Instagram the last few months and now it’s got you scratching your head and doing some research.

You’re wondering if this is even legit or just another “too good to be true” marketing ploy.

So what is Audiobook Impact Academy?

Audiobook Impact Academy is a rebranded version of the Mikkelsen Twins “Audiobook Income Academy” that shows you how to make make side hustle money from selling audiobooks on audible. They have a large private Facebook group and plenty of training videos to train you.

But before we get too deep into all this…

This Audiobook Income Academy review has been thoroughly researched with information and testimonials that are available to anyone in the public. Any conclusions drawn by myself are opinions.

Why Listen To Us?

My name is Josiah, and this is my Dad, Joel.

Together, we make up the team here at Scamrisk.

If you’ll let me bother you for two minutes, I’d like to quickly explain why I’m even here writing this review.

In early 2020, I had just graduated from college & had no real career prospects.

I knew I was destined for something more, but I had no clue how I was going to make it happen.

I had this sinking feeling in my gut all the time… like the “big man upstairs” had accidentally given me the version of life where I’d be mediocre forever, instead of the one where I was, ya know – happy & fulfilled.

Anyway…

I had fiddled around with some different online businesses in college:

Some random MLMs, a bit of affiliate marketing, a (failed) dropshipping store or two, all the usual suspects.

Even my dad had been involved in MLMs back in the day… selling knives & other random nonsense people (probably) didn’t need.

All I really wanted was to find something that was going to actually work for me.

Maybe those things had worked for others, but for me it all turned up a fat “0” in the bank account department.

So I searched! And searched… and searched… and searched…

And eventually, I somehow stumbled upon a program that promised to help me build an income online (read about it here if you’re curious).

I didn’t really want to be “rich”.

The thought of making a reliable $5K per month & not having to worry about clocking in to a 9-to-5 ever again was all I needed.

Sure, there were people in the program doing high-6 and low-7 figures per year… but that wasn’t what I was out for.

I just wanted to provide freedom for myself, and if I was lucky, take my family along for the ride.

Fast forward a few days and a few phone calls & I was enrolled!

Here’s the first “money making website” I put up:

I built that site in 2020, and it still makes me $1,500 per month. It’s a basic 5 page website I built based on a template the program provides.

The best part to me? My dad and I get to do it all together!

So between the:

  1. Ease of reaching $5-$10K per month in income online
  2. Straightforward-ness of the system to do it
  3. Fact that I get to do it w/ my family

Is why I recommend local lead generation as my #1 business model for making money online.

Sure, it takes some work and dedication – but anyone that tells you that there’s a business out there that requires no work is selling you a lemon.

I’m not saying you need to sign up for the same program I did, but I would definitely recommend giving the business model a peek!

There are countless self publishing courses floating around the internet.

Why?

Because for every self published book that exists, someone claims to have the perfect formula.

And that solution is usually some oddball money-making system that tells you how to turn a casual interest – or maybe something you’re super passionate about – into sustainable, reliable income.

Just like Audio Income Academy. Here’s the hard truth, though…

Most of these programs:

  • Take way more time than you’re led to believe
  • May have hidden fees
  • Require you to buy multiple upsells in order to get the “real” information

But most importantly, a lot of these programs just don’t scale.

“Scale” means once you do the work to make a little money, it should get easier to make more money, not harder.

The problem is, most programs out there make it hard to make money at first, and even harder to keep making money.

In other words, you might be able to make some money in the beginning, but it won’t be sustainable and you’ll end up getting discouraged.

This is the exact opposite of passive income.

When income is truly passive, you do the work upfront, but then you set it and forget it. The money gets made whether you’re working or not. It’s not directly tied to the hours you put in.

So, what if there was a way you could build a passive income stream that’s actually passive?

An income stream that doesn’t require:

  • Ghostwriting
  • Selling low quality content
  • Selling to strangers
  • Dealing with questionable products that weigh on your conscience

An income stream that brings in consistent revenues every single month (from a couple thousand dollars to well over $10,000)?

An income stream you could actually build in your spare time, and grow as large or as small as you want to, without having to spend hours a day chasing, selling, or managing anything?

This is nothing like audiobook publishing, and that’s probably a good thing.

However, if you’d still like to know more about Audiobook Income Academy, keep reading.

Who Are The Mikkelsen Twins?

Audiobook Impact Academy Mikkelsen Twins

They are twins who claim to travel the world thanks to their fantastic business strategy, “online book publishing.

They specialize in online audiobook publishing.

They claim that this is an entirely automated system, so you work on it for a few hours per week and then spend the rest of your time enjoying your life.

I couldn’t find any information on how much money the Mikkelsen Twins make.

However, I’m prepared to bet that they’re not generating much money. Based on their YouTube channel, their “travel lifestyle” isn’t quite what it seems.

If they do have a lot of money, it certainly doesn’t come from the book publishing industry.

It’s more likely that it’ll come from selling courses like the one I’m about to talk about.

What Is Audiobook Impact Academy?

What Is Audiobook Impact Academy

AIA 2.0, also known as Audiobook Impact Academy, is an online business strategy for passive income generation that teaches people how to become Amazon publishers. This course has sparked a great deal of debate.

Some believe it’s a straight-up scam and that the Mikkelsen Twins have been banned from Amazon multiple times, while others say it’s helped them attain financial freedom.

In a world full of bogus positive reviews, it’s impossible to tell which ones are legitimate. Here is what I was able to find after several hours of investigation into Audiobook Income Academy and the Mikkelsen Twins.

The two brothers coined the phrase “ghost audio” to entice more people to attend their free webinar training on the publishinglife.com website.

You may also find some exaggerated boasts of fast money with little to no work on their landing page:

Audiobook Impact Academy Landing Page

This is just marketing jargon designed to pique people’s attention and entice them to watch their webinar.

They explain at some point throughout the free training that you will have to work hard to succeed with this business strategy.

I guess the “easily produce $5K – $20K per month” strategy isn’t so simple after all.

Let’s set aside that minor inconsistency and dissect the ghost audio business model in this Audiobook Income Academy review.

What Is Ghost Audio?

Audiobook Impact Academy What Is Ghost Audio

The Mikkelsen twins refer to ghost audio as utilizing ghostwriters to generate content for you, then publishing it as your own on outlets like Amazon in the form of eBooks, audiobooks, and physical versions of these books.

You outsource the content while earning passive revenue. That is what the Mikkelsen twins refer to as ghost audio.

What’s Inside Audiobook Impact Academy?

What's Inside Audiobook Impact Academy

Inside AIA 2.0, you’ll find a 7-module course that will teach you everything you need to know about this online business and how to make money by publishing on Amazon.

There is a supplementary course that teaches you how to expand outside of Amazon and approach other platforms for increased exposure and income.

You will also have access to a private Facebook community where all other members may share resources, four one-on-one calls with an AIA 2.0 coach, weekly live group sessions every Monday, Done for You materials, and 21 templates.

It’s a strong online training course which shows you how to get started with self publishing.

Let’s take a look at each module and discover what’s included in Audio Income Academy.

Module 1: The Transformation

Audiobook Impact Academy Module 1

Module one begins with a high-level overview of everything you’ll be learning inside AIA 2.0. Following that is mindset training to assist in mentally preparing you for what is to come.

You’ll be learning how to develop an internet business, which means you’ll have to start forming new daily routines that will propel you forward.

This implies you’ll have to create a new identity, which is what lesson 3 of module one is all about.

The final session will provide you with a to-do list for the first week of your new online business’s launch.

Module 2: Launching Your Online Publishing Business

Audiobook Impact Academy Module 2

This module contains eight lessons. The first focuses on teaching you the essentials of running an online publishing business.

It’s intended to give you a thorough understanding of how everything works. Creating a firm foundation is a critical first step.

You’ll also learn about the numbers you should expect to generate in the coming months, how to choose the perfect initial topic for your first book, and how the Mikkelsen twins’ journey began.

Then, you’ll be exposed to a handful of ways you can use to accelerate your own path to success, followed by a few lectures on managing your money and the fundamentals of accounting.

Module 3: How To Write Your First Book

Audiobook Impact Academy Module 3

There are seven lessons in this course that will teach you everything you need to know about your potential customers, how to build your publishing brand, how to master the art of creating an outline for a good book, how to choose a winning title, how to be a good copywriter, and how to acquire ghostwritten books.

All of these factors are critical to your online success as an Amazon publisher. To clarify, becoming a publisher is one of the many other ways to generate money with Amazon. If that’s what you’re looking for, you may look into some alternative ways to use the platform, such as Amazon Mechanical Turk.

Audio Income Academy is solely dedicated to book publication. Even if you’ve never written anything before, you’ll learn how to delegate a large portion of the hard work.

Module 4: Passive Systems And Automations

Audiobook Impact Academy Module 4

This session focuses on outsourcing and automating your marketing promotion through the use of email.

You’ll be exposed to the fundamentals of developing an email list, captivating your readers, and receiving some done-for-you email sequences that you can begin delivering to your list.

It’s critical to realize that everyone in this course will have access to the same email marketing copy that you do.

That’s why, in the long run, it’s probably best if you change the emails a little. The module’s final lesson is about creating outstanding descriptions that catch readers in, followed by a to-do list.

Module 5: Launch Week

Audiobook Impact Academy Module 5

Everything up to this point has been preparing you for this moment. It’s time to put your books on the internet. Before doing that, you must perform a manual quality control check to ensure that everything is in working order for a successful launch.

Putting everything online is only the first step. After that, it’s time to establish yourself as an industry authority, which is what lesson 5 of this module is all about.

Module 6: Amazon Ads And Audiobook Conversion

Audiobook Impact Academy Module 6

Before you begin your first campaign, you will learn how to target certain keywords and correctly optimize your advertising in this lesson.

If you wait for people to discover your books on Amazon, it can take a long time before you make any sales.

That is why you must be willing to spend money on advertising (this could be a deal breaker for you as this is one of those “hidden additional costs”). That is the focus of the first half of this module, followed by converting your ebooks to audiobooks.

This can provide you with another way to create passive revenue online while also giving your potential customers more opportunities to consume your material.

Lesson six provides an introduction to ACX, an Amazon-powered audiobook editing tool. Then you’ll learn about getting narrated, Audible reviews, and how to turn all of that information into actionable actions toward online success.

Module 7: Next-Level Publishing

Audiobook Impact Academy Module 7

This session will show you how to scale and grow your business. The first lesson is about demonstrating the various methods for expanding and covering all you will study in Module 7.

Lesson two teaches you everything you need to know about becoming omnipresent and having a presence on several platforms simultaneously.

Lessons three and four address global print publishing with IngramSpark, and lessons five through eight cover various ways to scale your business, such as Facebook ads, website construction, and lead magnets.

How Much Does Audiobook Impact Academy Cost?

How Much Does Audiobook Income Academy Cost?

It used to be $997, but the Mikkelsen twins have raised AIA’s price to $1,997, which may be paid in three $797 installments.

If you pay in three consecutive months, your investment will rise to $2,391. If you can’t afford to pay for your membership right now, AIA 2.0 urges you to apply for PayPal credit.

AIA’s Refund Policy

Audiobook Income Academy Refund Policy

Yes, you have a no-questions-asked money-back guarantee for 24 hours. After the 24-hour period, you have 180 days to make a profit or get your money back. Audiobook Income Academy 2.0 provides a “profit guarantee” under the following conditions:

  1. You must watch all of the video lessons from Week 1 to Week 6.
  2. You must attend two one-on-one coaching calls.
  3. You must publish one audiobook and have it available on Audible.

You have 180 days to complete all of this, and if you haven’t made at least $5,000 by then, the Mikkelsen twins will refund your money plus $1,000.

I’ve read one comment from a student though: he said that one customer service guy cut him off during a refund call and that the “twins from Publishing life pretend to be helpful but they are not.”

He basically thinks Publishing Life pretend to actually help with refunds.

Audiobook Income Academy Customer Reviews:

Audiobook Impact Academy Customer Reviews

Here’s a couple reviews from Reddit:

Obvious scam. I know people who have followed them for years. They were in Luca’s publishing group (also a publishing scammer) and found out that publishing is crazy difficult. They made some money with fake reviews, using loopholes, and then got their Audible and Amazon accounts banned for sketchy behavior. Then they moved to teaching, because there is more money in that. Their commercials talk about a “new” business model, which has actually been around for a decade or two. They pretend the competition is low, but there are more than half a million audiobooks on Audible alone. And sure, there are some niche markets where you can take a piece of the pie, but most people end up losing money or wasting time. Everything they say make it sound like it’s the best opportunity on the planet. Moreover, they act as if they’ve invented the damn thing.

I’ve published audiobooks, and I can tell you that it CAN work, but it’s no picnic. The margins are small, the investments and time-consuming tasks take a toll. Most people don’t make a living with it. It’s everything BUT easy.

Other lies and deception lie in the fact that they send you to expensive writing services with affiliate links. Paying 200-300 dollars for having some company write a 10,000 word book is a terrible deal. But they highly recommend it because they make commissions from every outsourced purchase.

And there is more: Sending people after the same keywords will flood that keyword quickly, so that’s often bad advice. And there are other things they tell you to outsource that are overpriced.

I’ve talked to people who took their course and lost thousands of dollars on outsourcing books in competitive markets (which they recommended), only to lose their Amazon accounts or wait for years to break even after spending too much. Someone who has been publishing for almost a decade told me he found their course online for free and took it. He said most of their advice is the opposite of what people should be doing. It’s total garbage.”

Who are the Mikkelsen Twins

Not great! This deleted account tried to argue back:

“No. Not a scam by far. I’m in the Private FB group. The testimonials on their sales page are legit and tons more with current students following their steps. I’m not here to promote the guys, I just think people commenting here and bad mouth a product they never bought is wrong.

In the beginning, they did a lot of low-quality stuff and got banned. They experimented and now we know where the line is. In the second version of their course, they stress high-quality content only. These facts would certainly give them a mixed bag reputation-wise.

The truth is, some people do fail this course and produce nothing. It’s work for sure. It’s many steps and at times complicated. But it is all laid out for you. Lots of people fail courses but often it’s the learner’s fault. You must take action and stay positive. (And some people just fall for scammers and strong marketing. I get that too. It’s hard to tell these days because Disclaimers help hide the lies!)

Do I think the course is overpriced? Yes, at first I thought that but not now. They hired mentors to tutor you through it all. They provide monthly coaching calls. The community is Amazing helping each other and uploading useful documents. People are really making money inside. I know it sounds like a scam. I know it’s hard to believe what they say. But I’ve made friends with a lot of these people who are making good money. It’s as real and legit as it gets. The course is vastly UnderPriced ROI-wise. Judge a course by the students’ amazing results—they have dozens. You think all of them are lying?! That’s just crazy talk. Do you think they paid me to say this? I wish. I’m getting nothing out of this, but I do–like so many others–feel indebted to them.

So maybe don’t vilify or write libel about the course until you talk to someone on the inside. Then, say whatever you want! I DON’T expect anyone to believe me so troll away—but that doesn’t mean it’s any less true.

Christian Mikkelsen who is earning so much money through his self publishing business publishing life pretend audiobook income academy

Another bad one:

I DO NOT care if you buy this course. I never met these guys in person. I Just wanted to set the record straight or at least give another opinion so people can make their own educated decision.”

“What did you say to get a refund???? I would love to get out of the course somehow and they normally wouldn’t do that I don’t think. They’ve purposely built in a contract for refunds that makes you finish the course in full first (which involves way more money on top of the course, as well as way more work and time than what they talk about in their videos. EI. showing pictures of people relaxing in hammocks while their books are magically being made for them by other people)

I wouldn’t say the Audible platform they teach is a total scam per se, but they feed you major BS numbers and tell you the market hasn’t been totally flooded with people doing the same thing (100% not the case whatsoever, or at least the video they use is so outdated that it has become untrue now). They also tell you over and over how its passive income, you can just send off all of the work to other people while you relax and wait for the money to roll in, and then the second you join the Facebook group all you read in the comments from the coaches is how you have to constantly be editing, reviewing, and fixing all of the mistakes from the ghostwriters and other workers you PAY FOR. Basically, from what I’ve seen almost everyone who outsources their work to the companies they suggest ends up doing 90% of it themselves. So you’re not only losing more money for nothing, but more time and effort to do something the Twins said you wouldn’t need to even think about. Makes me now also wonder if they’re getting kickback from these companies to promote them too?

Alex, who was arguably the best coach and person at AIA just randomly up and left with zero notice last week along with another main coach they had…I woooooonder why? Maybe couldn’t handle all of the shadiness going on behind the scenes? He seemed like a legit good person who really liked helping others. Not as much the case with most of the other coaches, they just give you vague information and wait until they get you on a coach call where you basically have give them ALL OF YOUR IDEAS for them to help you at all (and then they always say how they don’t want you to steal their ideas).

The Twins new thing is now pushing everyone to make their own BRAND to sell products on the back end of your book (because clearly most people don’t make the $$ they say you’ll make from a book). OK so now were basically signing up for something that is more or less the same thing as Amazon FBA just in a different setting, meanwhile half of their pitch is why publishing is SO much easier and more passive than FBA.

I feel so dumb for not saying to myself “Hey if this thing is so easy, so profitable, and not over saturated; then why don’t they just keep putting out book after book and living off that “passive income”. Instead of spending all of this time, money & resources to make a course showing everyone under the sun how to do it, while simultaneously telling you nobody knows about this opportunity :S.”

And this one might be the worst of all!

Mikkelsen Twins Popularize a Amazon Business Model For making True Passive Income

“The Mikkelsen twins are complete scammers. I know people who have books in every keyword they suggest (beekeeping, children’s books, keto diet, etc.), and their income claims are always an exaggeration. Their so-called “evidence” of a guy named Pierre Luigi is only the result from gaming the ACX promo-code system with fake reviews and a loophole that no longer exists. It’s scammers like these that always promise you the world when in reality, the business they show you is a lot harder than they make it seem. They flaunt money amounts in your face to justify a course that costs thousands of dollars when it’s only worth 20 or 50 bucks at most, because pretty much all of the information can be found online for free. And that’s just the point: Yes, you can make some money publishing books under pen names but that doesn’t mean you should spend thousands on some liars’ course, who promote overpriced writing services with affiliate links and tell everyone to go after the same keywords so that those markets become saturated.

Don’t give these liars your hard-earned money! I’ve been publishing for a while now, and I just know that so many things they say don’t make sense, are simply not true, or are false conclusions based on incorrect data.

They lost their ACX account and KDP account. Listen, KDP accounts are very fragile. KDP is the kind of platform that terminates your account for no reason whatsoever. You can find all kinds of stories when you Google “lost my KDP account.” Legit authors who suddenly lost their whole income have left bitter blog posts about how quick Amazon is to screw you over. They do it if they get the chance or if you do ANY-thing shady.

But to lose an ACX account? I know of someone who even requested ACX to terminate his account, and they refused. They said he had to keep it for 7 years. But the twins LOST their ACX account. Do you know why? Because Amazon was sick of them telling everyone how to manipulate audiobook rankings. And now that they stopped paying for promo codes, there is no chance in hell you’ll have the success that anyone had before March 26th, 2020. Once you use up the last of the codes they pay for, it’s harder than ever. My advice: If you want to invest thousands in audiobooks, hire narrators. Don’t give it to these two.

Another thing: I contacted someone about getting a refund from them. But the guy said, “Well, they helped me make some money.” But that’s not a good reason for paying them thousands of dollars! Just because you made money from what they taught in their course, doesn’t mean the information can’t be found online for free, or for cheaper. You want to pay for a course? Go to Udemy or find one on YouTube. Here’s what you do; let me save you some time: You go to ACX or Author’s Republic or Findaway Voices or whatever. You find a good topic you want to write a book about: A diet, a psychological disorder, a historical event, or something else that’s trending on Google or just an overall known topic. Start with short books, so you won’t risk a lot in the beginning, to test the waters. You upload your book, hire a narrator or narrate it yourself, and you’re done. Rinse and repeat. Try out different keywords. There you go. No need to give someone 2,000 bucks to tell you how to upload a book. You want reviews? Go to upwork and look for a “Virtual assistant for Ebooks.” Or be legit and build an email list from Audiobook Boom or Mailchimp. Or ask your friends and family (without the same last name) to review it. That’s it. There. Now give me 500 dollars, because with this post, I just saved you 2000 dollars…. oh, excuse me, 1997 dollars, just like all the other BS-scammers on YouTube who sell overpriced “information products.””

Is Mikkelsen Twins Publishinglife.Com A Scam?

Scam or Legit

So, is Audiobook Income Academy a scam? Not technically. You can make money with this program, but it’s definitely not as easy as they make it sound.

There’s a ton of work to be done upfront, no real guarantee of success, and – most importantly – it doesn’t scale.

Now, there’s nothing wrong with front-loading the work and making the money later.

But if you’re grinding it out for 3 months and then your reward is being forced to grind it out for another 9 months before seeing any “real money,” well…that’s not a great deal, is it?

What if, instead, you could do that same 3 months of work (in your spare time), and your reward was a $500 to $2,000 payment that came in every single month?

And what if you actually didn’t need to wait 3 months? What if you could get started today and have your first payment in a week?

And what if you could double it next week?

Well, that’s the power of Digital Real Estate.

And you can legitimately do this from anywhere. It’s a true lifestyle business.

Your laptop and an internet connection is all you need.

Some of the most successful students in this program run their entire 6-figure businesses from:

  • A camper in the middle of the woods
  • A beach chair on the water in Mexico
  • A small villa in Greece

Are There Alternatives To Audio Income Academy?

While Audiobook Impact Academy is a decent online course, there are plenty of other business models to choose from if you want to pursue this making money online. Here are just a few:

What Is Our #1 Recommendation To Make Money Online In 2023?

Digital Real Estate

Our review team has spent months researching, reviewing, and vetting dozens of business models and thousands of programs.

While there may be no “perfect business”, the research IS conclusive:

Digital Real Estate is the #1 online business model for those just starting out.

Whether you’ve never made a dollar online, or you’ve been in this space for a while but never really “made it,” Digital Real Estate is for you.

Why?

TESTIMONIAL - JUMP ALL IN

1) It’s Flexible: got an hour a day? You can do this. Ready to drop everything else and dive in full time? You can do this. Yes, the more time you put in, the faster you see results. But even with a little time each day, you can move the needle in a Digital Real Estate business.

And because this system is so flexible, you don’t have to constantly be working to make more money. It’s called PASSIVE INCOME because if you stop working, the money doesn’t.

Imagine taking 3 months off to just tour around Europe, rent a cabin in the woods to write a book, hike the Appalachian Trail, or live on the beach and surf all day.

This is only possible if you have an income stream that’s not tied to your time.

TESTIMONIAL - FEELING BLESSED

2) You Own & Control EVERYTHING: With audiobook publishing, you might own anything. You have no control over the quality of products. You don’t even own your “business”.

Look at the fine print for most of the agreements folks sign when they join one of these companies. At any point, the company can change your commission structure, reduce your profit margins, or kick you out entirely.

With Digital Real Estate, you own the assets, which means you have all the power and all the control.

Lance Lead Gen

3) Little To No Startup Costs: It’s possible to get into Digital Real Estate with zero dollars upfront. Because, using the strategies outlined in this program, you can get a client to pay you BEFORE spending a penny out of your own pocket…even before you do any work.

Even without getting paid in advance, you can have your first Digital Rental Property up, running, and generating profits for less than $100.

Scott Lead Gen

4) Easy To Duplicate: Ok, here’s the best part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up and running, you can literally DOUBLE your income with a few clicks, a couple keystrokes, and a single phone call (and you don’t actually need the phone call).

Remember: each Digital Rental Property is worth $500 to $2,000 a month in semi-passive income (over 95% profit). Every time you decide to create another one and increase your income, it gets easier.

Because you have more knowledge, more experience, more results, and more momentum.

If you wanted to double your income with Audio Income Academy, you’d probably need to double the number of hours you spend working. Because, again, this program doesn’t scale.

done deal digital real estate

5) Make Money Helping Real People: With Digital Real Estate, you’re actually helping people by solving your clients’ biggest problem:

Small, local businesses need more customers, and with Digital Real Estate, you are unleashing a flood of happy, paying customers for these businesses.

You make money by helping them make money.

Not a big, faceless corporation either…a small business owner who’s using that money to put food on the table for their family, start a college fund for their kids, or take care of a sick parent.

Once you see how Digital Real Estate makes a real impact in the lives of real people, you’ll sleep like a baby with a big smile on your face.

TESTIMONIAL-BOSS-OF-MY-FUTURE

Now, the choice is yours. You could continue browsing, looking at opportunities like Audio Income Academy which could one day make you money.

You could continue researching, never making a decision.

OR, you could take a look inside, consider what you really want, and join a program that makes your dreams a reality. At the same time, joining a community of over 2,000 successful students that are living life on their own terms thanks to Digital Real Estate.

A consistent, reliable, semi-passive stream of income that doesn’t depend on you or your time to keep producing profits that only a few places offer.

All while genuinely helping real people who are grateful and happy to pay for it.

  1. Hello everybody. Yes, I made the mistake of buying it (on 23/01/2022) and I am here to tell why I think you shouldn’t.
First, watching that advertising on YouTube, everything looks easy, fast. Then I watched almost 1 hour of explanations, even easier, faster and then it comes the pressure to pay. They say there are only a few places, like that webinar was live (it is not). And then I paid. And everything becomes more real, they start to say that it’s possible, but not easy, neither fast. That we have to put a lot of effort on it. And then I started to think (which I haven’t done before paying) and realizing that is totally against my principles. I have a job, that I love, but doesn’t pay me much. I saw this as an opportunity to keep this job and have a financial freedom, an easy money where I don’t have to spend a lot of time. Fake. It needs time, especially at the beginning. It needs effort (not easy as they say before we pay). And particularly, I would have to go against my principles.
Yes… I am totally against this superficial economy where everybody buys everything without the necessity. I was imaging myself paying someone to write a book for me, another one to make the cover and other to make the narrative and then myself selling on Amazon. And for all that I had to just choose a title, I probably wouldn’t even read the book before selling. They probably don’t do it either.
So, when I realized that, like 6 or 7 hours later, I asked for a refund, based on the Contract Policies. They answered me in the next day and made the refund 2 days later.
As I paid in euro and the euro was dropping, I received less money. Maybe I am wrong, but in my opinion, that’s not right. They should guarantee I would receive the same amount in my own currency, as there is nothing being said differently in the contract.
Anyway, that’s not the point. I just wanted to ask everybody to think before paying and not believe in the pressure they put on before we pay. There are a lot of wrong things on their process and I hope I could help some people to make a decision.

    1. Thanks Vinicius!

I wanted to pay for this course but your comment makes me doubt and I have to think about it. But I would like to ask you a question: he says in his ad that we the parteners do almost nothing and that we delegate all the work, isn’t that true?

      Thanks for the answer

    2. Thank you!! I am sorry you didn’t get a full refund but your review to help others is refund in itself. Your review is letting others know it’s like every other self employed company, you have to work hard in the beginning to see the pay off later. Thank you again. I pray God will make up the difference to you with a better financial business investment to add to your salary.

    3. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this honest review ! I pray that you’re blessed a hundred times over ! I was SO close to buying into it!! And then something told me to research it further . So again, thank you ! You’re a good person and your review is to the point and not harsh , yet brutally honest!

  2. I appreciate your research in the legitimacy of this venture. I pray your information is honest as I am taking your word as the hard working researcher. You seem to be honest when you said one CAN make money from the twins and listed the ways how…to allow us to think twice. I will look for your name for future research you have completed in order to see pro’s, con’s, the fine print per se, and what the steps are to make the money these ppl claim.

  3. Thanks for telling us this. I’m tired of scams and being taken in just trying to find my way in publishing.

  4. Whew! I didn’t almost buy, but I listened to the entire spiel. I also have to admit that I had hope.

I’m not working for cash right now, I’m working on a book. But like I said, I had hope – and this came off as easy. I’d love to have that security right now … only 30 minutes a day to riches. Here are 7 things that gave me pause, and caused me to do a little research of my own.

#1 – the webinar – it was about to start a few minutes after I clicked over to the page. I didn’t see anyone in chat.

#2 – the cost of the ghostwriter is $500. When you start adding up the costs, you’re looking at about $2700, and more when you factor in advertising … and stuff.

    #3 – I’m a writer, I’d want to write my own book.

#4 – I just couldn’t get over the options that they offered for me to pay.

#5 – they called nonfiction writing story tales.

#6 – knowledge that there had to be other sites with information and having the wherewithal to search and happening upon this informative site.

#7 – before coming to this site, I read an article by Neil Lassen of Neillasson.com and the model that the Mikkelsen twins used is the same one that Lassen laid out.

My money is exactly where it’s supposed to be – in my account. I’ve been scammed before, but never to the tune of 2 grand.

For me, they made a huge mistake, because I know that nothing in life that’s worth having comes easy … money is work, love is work, life is work.

  5. I also listened to the whole spiel. There were just too many warnings. First, just choose a topic and someone writes it? Ummm, couldn’t be so. What’s the quality of the writing? Who de ides what to writ, etc. writing even an outline for a good book isn’t as easy as it sounds. First, what comprises a good book? In the day it just seemed too good to be risk so I bailed and saved my money.

  6. I feel sick, I signed with the twins and AIA, what is wrong with me that I fell for this scam.

Now I am out $2600 because I paid $1997 USD for the course.

    What can I do now?

    1. Request a refund if you’re still in that time frame. I have heard several people that changed their mind and they did get there money back

  7. I have done audiobooks through Audiobook Creation Exchange (ACX) since 2015. I kept seeing the ads for AIA. After about 10 or so ads it finally dawned on me–ACX does NOT pay royalties by check. Red Flag! AIA is complicating a simple concept. One can generate a good steady income on ACX, but it takes more time investment than advertised by AIA.

    Just my two cents.

  8. I knew it. It’s all a scam. Check out some videos on YouTube for “Mikkelsen Twins scam” and you’ll figure it out. Too much promise of easy money. Why are they selling the concept of doing it, instead of actually doing it? Their reason? “There is just too much money to be made, and we need partners.” Anybody else’s BS detector go off? I know people who made some money with audiobooks. That’s totally cool. But like everything else in life, it can’t be that easy. Low entry barrier, high competition. Duh!

    Report those scammers!

    1. o.i don’t know if it’s a scam but all could hear was my late father’s voice saying “if it sounds too good to be true. It probably is.” No body gives you money for nothing and only a fool would believe that. I admit i was tempted because his sales pitch is good but then my better judgement told me no

  9. I did buy into this deal but after all this negative feedback, I’m sorry I did this. How do I contact them to get my money back? I’m 78 and should know better. I too kept saying to myself, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn’t. Help, please. Thank you.

  10. I signed up last night, and went to get my 72 hour refund. Of course, I signed up on a Thursday night, so when I went to cancel on Friday night, they aren’t open until Monday… How they will work this is anyone’s guess.

The emails I’ve gotten say that they time stamp the emails, so I did a reply to every email that I had from them, including the receipt. We’ll see what happens on Monday.

  11. ngl i thought these guys were hot af hahaha it doesnt hurt thats for sure BUT i noticed they werent seeming too legit…after a few min…thx for saving me some $$ i didnt read everything here but basically seems liek what i thought

  12. I see I’m not the only woman who was lured in by these guys…all that glitters is not gold, ladies! My mind is still open, but after reading this I just don’t see how we can make good money with the twins.

I’m not sure if the “Digital Real Estate” stuff is for me, but I do like the earning potential. I’ve set up a call just so we can discuss a little further.

    Thank you,

    – Melissa W

    1. I was also wondering about the digital real estate please let me know how it goes kinda seems like another version of what I just avoided with the twins

      1. It’s totally different from the twins! This is actually a business model that is straight up and not all fancy marketing by twins that really just have good marketing for their course.

  13. HA I thought these dudes were gay together when I first saw them. Don’t care if it’s not PC they LOOK GAY taking shirtless selfies together not exactly what my boys get up to on the weekend haha.

GOod review, clicked on your recommendation we’ll see — so far no TikTok bros!
