If you spend any time on social media, chances are you might have seen Anton Kraly dropping an ad for his Dropship Lifestyle course.
Drop Ship Lifestyle (DSL), according to Anton Kraly, is the greatest Shopify-certified dropshipping school in the history of the world.
But does it live up to the hype?
…or is Anton Kraly running a scam?
Or even worse – is dropshipping dead?
Let’s find out.
This Anton Kraly review has been thoroughly researched with information and testimonials that are available online to anyone in the public. Any conclusions drawn by myself are opinions.
Table of Contents
Pros: What I Liked
- Anton Kraly is an established name
- The training program has some good reviews
- Could make a buck or two
Cons: What I Didn't Like
- Pricy for a dropshipping course
- Dropshipping is getting squashed by Amazon/Wal-Mart
- Where it is still legal, losing huge profit cuts
Anton Kraly’s programs aren’t too different from most dropshipping courses.
Sure, their marketing makes some great promise you haven’t heard from the other dropshipping gurus, but at the end of the day, no magic bullet overcomes the massive pitfalls of this business model.
Let’s get something clear:
There is NOTHING passive about dropshipping, no matter how well most course creators sell the dream.
If you want that travel-the-world-making-money-while-you-sleep-laptop-lifestyle, dropshipping isn’t for you.
To run a successful dropshipping business, you need to be constantly on the lookout for new products.
Scouring the internet for hot trends and trying to find the next fidget spinner will take hours out of your day.
Not to mention, it’s not enough to just have the hot new product…
You also need to get the customers.
That means ads…
Lots and lots of ads…
Testing, tweaking, targeting, spending thousands if not tens of thousands of dollars before breaking even.
Not to mention, Facebook hates dropshipping, meaning one of your top traffic sources could shut you down at any time.
All of this leads to a very stressful life, not a lot of money, and a lot of time wasted.
Time that could be better spent so you can actually live the life you want.
Now, what if there was a way you could build a passive income stream that’s actually passive?
An income stream that doesn’t require:
- Physical Products
- Low Margins
- Long Wait Times
- Angry Customers
- Thousands of dollars testing different ad campaigns
An income stream that brings in consistent revenues every single month (from a couple thousand dollars to well over $10,000)?
An income stream you could actually build in your spare time, and grow as large or as small as you want to, without having to spend hours a day running ads, researching products, and trying not to get banned by whatever platforms you’re using?
If that sounds like something you’d be interested in, check out Digital Real Estate.
This is nothing like dropshipping, and that’s probably a good thing.
However, if you’d still like to know more about Anton Kraly, keep reading.
Who Is Anton Kraly?
When Anton Kraly graduated from college in 2006, he spent $25,000 on a delivery van to sell cookies in Merrick, a small Long Island, NY hamlet.
“Basically, every morning, I’d drive the Brooklyn Queens Expressway through Brooklyn, load up a truck I acquired, and go to these enormous grocery stores and sell my products.”- Anton Kraly.
Then, not long after, he read “The Four Hour Workweek,” a book by Tim Ferris. At this moment, Anton reconsidered his company concept and resolved to discover a better approach to make money.
So he set up an online store, NYcookieshop.com, for roughly $30/month, so he could sell his cookies online instead of driving them around town.
It wasn’t long before his fledgling firm began to outperform his delivery route. In fact, he and his business partner were able to keep it running while traveling across the world.
Then they realized that instead of merely selling cookies, they might grow their business by offering higher-ticket items. So they went through eBay to see what they could find.
It wasn’t long before they started selling furniture and home appliances that they had bought in China. Of course, they had to outsource a lot because it was only him and his partner.
Three years later, their company reached a significant milestone when they earned $1.2 million. They decided to sell it when it got $1.8 million a year later.
Surprisingly, they accomplished all of this without the assistance of any personnel… it is becoming increasingly popular among drop shippers these days.
In fact, the number of $1 million enterprises with no employees increased from roughly 34k to slightly over 38k between 2014 and 2015… This represents a 5% growth rate.
Because they are administered by a single self-employed person, the government refers to these firms as “nonemployer” organizations.
Furthermore, some generate more than $2.5 million in annual income. Continue reading to learn more about this company.
Only a few people, such as Kraly, have unlocked the code to build a $1 million-dollar, no-employer dropshipping business.
“It’s now much easier than ever to earn seven figures.” –Anton Kraly
While surfing eCommerce forums online one day, Kraly came upon another profitable business proposal.
People would regularly ask him for guidance on his postings and in his private email. Most of the time, they’d all ask for the same piece of advice.
“There’s a sort of holding pattern that people go through while attempting to start an e-commerce store.”- Anton Kraly.
So, What Exactly Does Anton Kraly Do?
He took all of the free information he was giving out and placed it all on the Dropship Lifestyle website, which he and his business partner launched in 2012. That company made a million dollars in three years by offering online courses and holding live conferences.
Soon after, they needed to add employees to meet the demands that their $3.5 million firms were producing. Drop Ship Lifestyle had made it onto the map.
They employed two former Asian contractors as full-time workers shortly after moving their business to Austin, TX, and have grown to a staff of 12.
Kraly’s emphasis is currently focused on software development.
“There weren’t as many people building software 10 years ago, yet it currently costs approximately 1/1,000 of what it did then.”– Anton Kraly.
Anton Kraly Net Worth
Anton was mentioned in a Forbes article back in May of 2017 as a serial entrepreneur.
Dropshipping made him $3.68 million in three years before he decided to sell it. However, you’ll never know exactly how much money you’ve made. Dropship Lifestyle has been his main emphasis since then, and it brought in $3.5 million in 2016 alone.
Using his personal blog, Anton reveals that he is enjoying the laptop lifestyle while making money online by running eCommerce websites and Amazon Affiliate stores, promoting Affiliate Networks, and creating digital items, such as his own business Dropship Lifestyle, which he sells.
What Makes Anton’s Course Stand Out From The Rest?
All dropshipping courses are not created equal.
I’ve reviewed many of them, and believe me when I say that this course isn’t the worst.
According to this dropship lifestyle review, the significant distinction between Anton’s DSL school and other dropshipping courses is that he teaches high ticket dropshipping rather than the low ticket dropshipping that most courses teach.
Anton says he has been using this method successfully since 2009, and the main differences are:
- You do not try to sell random products
- You do not jump on the bandwagon and try to sell hot and trending products.
- You find evergreen products from dropshipping suppliers that will keep on selling
- You sell legitimate products from legitimate brands that want you to sell their products
- You find a manufacturer who is focused on making excellent products, while you focus on only selling amazing products
- You build genuine relationships with these brands and are the online retailers for these brands and products
- You build real relationships with these brands and are the online retailers for these brands and products
- You focus on building websites, driving traffic to these websites, and selling products
- The course doesn’t just offer training videos to choose the best products. Still, DSL will also verify these products and your niche and do market research.
- You get everything DSL uses to automate websites so that you only spend 30 minutes a day on a site that gives you a full-time income
- No products shipped from China!
- No long lead times
- No faulty products that have to be exchanged or refund
Evaluating the Drop Ship Lifestyle Dropshipping Business
The course is decent. I mean, it’s fundamentally sound. If you want to learn about drop shipping, this is a place to start. Drop Ship Lifestyle will benefit those in the United States, Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
It is not run by a fraudster, as some other courses are.
It is divided into numerous sections, including:
- The core blueprint module for dropshipping
- A team devoted entirely to Shopify
- How to sell your dropshipping business for a six-figure profit
- Using PPC and Adwords to increase visibility in Google and Google Ads
- Paid social media module (extensive)
- Finding the best people to outsource work to build your business all over the world
- Working on your success mindset
- Importing and distributing fundamentals
How Much does DropShip Lifestyle Cost?
Then there are many pricing structures for Drop Ship Lifestyle Course.
Dropship Lifestyle Cost at the time of writing includes:
The basic module at $997 (Solid content)
The premium module is priced at $1,497. (most people buy this)
The top-tier ‘Done For You’ module costs $2,997.
Update: Unfortunately, Kraly has skyrocketed his prices lately:
It now appears that you’ll have to fork over $4000 to dip your toes in, and over ten grand to get the “ultimate” experience.
If a course gives you strong value, then you can charge those prices…but you’d better be sure the value is there!
Dropship Lifestyle Refund Policy
A 30-day money-back guarantee is now in place.
This also suggests that if you complete the course and aren’t satisfied, you’ll be able to get a refund. This deserves a lot of praise.
Drop Ship Lifestyle’s ‘Done For You’ service does not appear to be covered by the refund policy.
What is the Dropship Lifestyle Retreat?
Dropship Lifestyle is “more than just a training program. It’s a blueprint, a community, and a way of life all rolled into one.”
As a result, Anton arranged a retreat for everyone enrolled in the course once a year.
He compares it to a work-cation where you can learn from the finest, mingle with your colleagues, and rub elbows with the industry’s elite…
All in far-flung exotic locales such as Thailand, Hawaii, and the Czech Republic.
Get the Ultimate Package and prepare to party hard in the world’s beer capital while learning how to build a six-figure dropshipping store.
Is Anton Kraly Running A Scam?
So, is Anton Kraly’s program a scam?
You can make money with this program, but it’s definitely not as easy as the Dropship Lifestyle Course makes it sound.
There’s a ton of work to be done upfront, no real guarantee of success, and – most importantly – you need to do a ton of volume to make any real money.
Now, there’s nothing wrong with front-loading the work and making the money later.
But if you’re grinding it out for 3 months, $3-5k in the hole on ads (because that whole “get started with $5 a day” thing is total BS) and then your reward is 15% profit on a $12 product (which comes out to $1.80), it’s not really worth it.
What if, instead, you could do that same 3 months of work (in your spare time), and your reward was a $500 to $2,000 payment that came in every single month?
And what if you actually didn’t need to wait 3 months? What if you could get started today and have your first payment in a week?
And what if you could double it next week?
Well, that’s the power of Digital Real Estate.
And, unlike dropshipping, you can legitimately do this from anywhere. It’s a true lifestyle business.
Your laptop and an internet connection is all you need.
Some of the most successful students in this program run their entire 6-figure businesses from:
- A camper in the middle of the woods
- A beach chair on the water in Mexico
- A small villa in Greece
They’re able to travel around, living their lives first, and focusing on their income second.
Because even if they stop working for an extended period of time, the money keeps coming in.
So adventure, memories, and experience are the top priority.
And they never have to worry about how to pay for the next trip, or consider asking for time off.

Dropshipping Appears To Be Dead
I’m sorry that we have to end this Drop ship Lifestyle review with an obituary…but at least dropshipping has had a successful run.
Today, making a profit is infinitely more complex, with margins of only 15% at best. It certainly wasn’t as good as it once was.
Particularly with escalating PPC prices and the crushing efforts of Amazon and Wal-Mart on dropshippers – either cutting down the pages entirely, or at least cutting their profits in half.
However, if you’re looking for a beginner-friendly method in this dwindling industry, Anton’s course is fine.
Anton Kraly Online Reviews
Let’s hear what the people have to say:
“If you’re thinking of drop shipping as a lifestyle, you’re doing it wrong. Seriously. Then you’re one of the many people that’ll be upset they put 100 products on a website and get no sales because they were promised the “drop ship lifestyle” where they can make money sitting on a beach somewhere while looking at two hot women laying on your Lamborghini. You want the fast money, fast cars, and hot women? You gotta work for it and no ones giving you all that because you figured out drop shipping.
The reality is this: A drop ship business is just like any other retail business, the ONLY change is you’ve outsourced logistics. You’re like the office TV show, you’re on the top floor, your supplier is in the warehouse. Your job in that office does not change if you own the warehouse or someone else owns the warehouse. You still need to do absolutely everything a regular retail shop does from advertising, to websites, to customer support, to legal, etc. etc.
Just the fact that you don’t physically pack a box for shipment isn’t going to give you a “drop ship lifestyle” and if it really was that easy do you think Anton Kraly would be writing books? No. He would have like 20 drop ship sites and he’d be laughing to the bank. “But maybe he likes teaching?” Yeah, right… Because we all know if you make millions drop shipping the first thing you’re going to do is write a book on how other people can compete with you. Uh huh.
That’s not to say drop shipping is impossible, it’s a valid business model as all you’ve done is outsourced logistics, but if you come to it with this dream of doing nothing and making massive amounts of money then I got some bad news for you. That’s not how it works. The only people that make it are ones that work hard, likely harder than a regular retail shop as you got multiple suppliers to deal with rather than just your own warehouse that you control.”
Oof! That one was pretty rough. Let’s try to find a positive review:
“Thinking of drop shipping? Here is my experience with drop ship lifestyle.
“Thinking about drop shipping? Here is my experience, and from what I have seen, it is a very typical one.
So you have seen websites such as www.dropshiplifestyle.com endorsed by Johnny FD. They sound great, right? I certainly fell for the claims that it will make you a viable income from 3 months of hard commitment.
Here is what you can expect when you click the affiliate link on johnnyfd.com and spend $997 on drop ship lifestyle and follow the steps:
Step 1: Niche Selection
Your first step is choosing a niche. This is probably the most difficult part, get it wrong and you are doomed from the start. Will Anton help you? A little but you are mostly on your own. Why? Because if he told everyone to drop ship hammocks then everyone would drop ship hammocks and the market would be saturated (not that it is’nt already).
So, you’re on your own. Anton’s Advice is basic, at best. You start to wonder what you are paying this guy for.
Anton’s main piece of advice is to only droop ship high value products. Why? Because you only need to sell a couple of these items to make a living. This is bad advice which I will discuss later.
Step 2: Market Research
You do a few web searches, make a few phone calls and cross your fingers.
Step 3: Create Your Website
You know, the sort of website that you come across when searching for a Canon DSLR camera and you find them unfathomably cheap on SLRHut.co.uk
Why is it so cheap? This is a drop shipping store, the product is cheap because your camera is a grey import. This is the type of website that attracts bad reviews just because it is not well known or trusted
This is the type of website that you will be creating.
Why do most companies pay good money for web design? Because they want a good website. If you have no experience creating websites, your will probably look very amateur. You expect people to buy high value items from an amateur looking website.
As for a URL, Good luck (or ‘chok dee’ as they now say in your local coffee shop) getting something half decent that hasn’t been taken.
Step 4: Get Approved With Drop Ship Suppliers
This is incredibly difficult. If you are in US you may have a lot of options, outside of the US you will likely have very few. Manufacturers and retails don’t want to deal with amateurs, so if you tell them that you are new and live in Chiang Mai they will politely tell you to F off, so you have to tell little white lies.
Step 5: Optimize For Conversions
After choosing a niche, this is the second hardest part of drop shipping. It is something that Anton emphasises when selling his course but in reality offers little in the way of advice.
So how do you get people to buy you product? Remember that we are selling high value items, this is now a clear mistake because nobody will trust your new website.
How do you improve buyer confidence? Add lots of ‘trust guard’, ‘security scanned’, ‘authorised dealer’ stickers all over your website? Very professional. You don’t have an office so you can use your home address and hope nobody will Google it. You can use the address of your supplier, bending the truth a little. Maybe do a Google search for ‘warehouses’ and add the first picture you find onto your ‘about us’ page.
What else do you put on the ‘about us’ page? Again, you bend the truth slightly or make-up a story. Drop shipping is built on bending the truth.
Also, your products have no reviews, maybe make-up a few? Who will ever know.
How else do you inspire confidence in the customer? You add a telephone number to your site. What now? You either have to stay awake from 22:00 to 07:00 in your $200 a month Chiang Mai condo drinking Doi Chaang bulletproof coffee made using your AeropressTM (affiliate product link) waiting for the phone to ring or you out-source.
Paying someone who is available for 50 hours a week to answer the phone is expensive. And why train someone else? Who knows more about your products than yourself? You do know your products, right? Or did you just click copy and paste them onto your website? When someone phones your store to buy a massage table they expect to speak to John the expert therapist with 10 years of experience, not Teresa a retired babysitter.
Another option is to have a voicemail service, buy 75% of the time, the customer will hang-up and not leave a message.
Step 6: Get Traffic
This will keep you up at night (assuming that you are not up already waiting for the phone to ring) and make you want to tear your hair out. You pump money into advertising with the expectation that more money spent = more sales. This doesn’t happen. What do you do? If you don’t pay for advertising nobody will find you. Don’t forget the money you are paying for shopify, web hosting, Teresa.. All on top of your initial $997 ‘investment’. Do you keep putting money into something that took months to create? Letting go of an idea is incredibly difficult.
The simple truth is that drop shipping is very hard work and most drop shipping websites fail. Will yours be different? What skills do you have to succeed? Johnny FD will tell you that anyone can do it. Sure, Johnny FD is a great salesman and motivational speaker but should you buy from him? Probably not.
Don’t believe me that most drop shipping sites fail? Have a look at some of the garbage sites out there.
It is very easy to find websites created by other drop ship lifestyle users because most people follow Anton’s guidelines word for word. He gives you templates for the ‘about us’ and ‘shipping & returns’ sections of your store. A Google search using a string of keywords from Anton’s guidelines (below) brings up a whole range of stores:
Six months ago, I searched for sites created by drop ship lifestyle members and bookmarked a selection of the best stores – 80 % of these stores are now closed.
TL;DR: learn to code.”
Huh…okay, that wasn’t so positive. This one is, however:
“A systematic and detailed Drop Ship Course with a Committed Mentor
I bought this course about 1 month ago, after being on Anton’s email list for perhaps 2 years. I am certainly very happy with the course. I am in the Amazon and Ebay business for a while and have attended various courses. Anton is very clear and detailed in his explanation.
His course is very systematic and guides you through step by step. He is constantly upgrading the course and seems that he has addressed most things you can think of. Although this is a dropshipping course, he is very knowledgeable about driving traffic to your shop as well.
Talk about google analytics as well! I just went on to his monthly webinar today. For a moment I thought it was a recorded call from previous webinars as some some courses do. I asked a question to the host and panelist, not too confident I will get an answer from him, but just a reply message, and lo and behold, Anton answered the question within 20 minutes.
He goes through the questions one by one! As I am typing this he is still on the call. It is 2.5hours since the start of the webinar and he is still going. Anton is committed to helping his course participants to build a successful business. I definitely recommend Drop Ship Lifestyle course.”
Are There Alternatives To Anton Kraly?
Yes, there are plenty of Dropshipping programs and resources to choose from if you want to pursue this business model. Here are just a few:
- Spocket Dropshipping
- Dropshipping Titans
- 100K Blueprint
- Biaheza Dropshipping
What Is My Top Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2023?
Our review team has spent months researching, reviewing, and vetting dozens of business models and thousands of programs.
While there may be no “perfect business”, the research IS conclusive:
Digital Real Estate is the #1 online business model for those just starting out.
Whether you’ve never made a dollar online, or you’ve been in this space for a while but never really “made it,” Digital Real Estate is for you.
1) It’s Flexible: got an hour a day? You can do this. Ready to drop everything else and dive in full time? You can do this. Yes, the more time you put in, the faster you see results. But even with a little time each day, you can move the needle in a Digital Real Estate business.
And because this system is so flexible, you don’t have to constantly be working to make more money. It’s called PASSIVE INCOME because if you stop working, the money doesn’t.
Imagine taking 3 months off to just tour around Europe, rent a cabin in the woods to write a book, hike the Appalachian Trail, or live on the beach and surf all day.
This is only possible if you have an income stream that’s not tied to your time.
2) You Own & Control EVERYTHING: With dropshipping, you don’t really own anything. You have no control over the quality of products. You don’t even own the products because they go straight from the supplier to the customer.
Yes, if you’ve got a Shopify store, you technically own that. But if every ad platform suits you down, you’ve got a store with no customers. Which is literally worthless.
With Digital Real Estate, you own the assets, which means you have all the power and all the control.
3) Little To No Startup Costs: It’s possible to get into Digital Real Estate with zero dollars upfront. Because, using the strategies outlined in this program, you can get a client to pay you BEFORE spending a penny out of your own pocket…even before you do any work.
Even without getting paid in advance, you can have your first Digital Rental Property up, running, and generating profits for less than $100.
4) No Inventory: Ok, so technically you don’t have to worry about inventory since you’re not filling up your garage or a warehouse with products.
But, you still have all the headaches of a physical products business.
Since most dropshipped products come from China, you already have a 2-3 week wait time from when a customer places an order.
But right now, with global supply chain issues, your customers would be lucky to get anything in less than a month.
Imagine finally landing your first customer after months of experimenting, and then getting hit with a refund request or chargeback because they had to wait 6 weeks to get their order.
With Digital Real Estate, a 100% online business, you never even have to think about that risk.
5) Easy To Duplicate: Ok, here’s the best part: once you have your first Digital Rental Property up and running, you can literally DOUBLE your income with a few clicks, a couple keystrokes, and a single phone call (and you don’t actually need the phone call).
Remember: each Digital Rental Property is worth $500 to $2,000 a month in semi-passive income (over 95% profit). Every time you decide to create another one and increase your income, it gets easier.
Because you have more knowledge, more experience, more results, and more momentum.
If you wanted to double your income with dropshipping, you’d have to double your inventory, your profit margins, OR your average order value. And, guaranteed that’s a lot harder than a few clicks and a few minutes of your life.
6) Make Money Helping Real People: This part is what makes it all worth it. 99.9% of the time, dropshipping provides no value to anyone but the seller.
In a lot of cases, it has a negative impact on the customer because of poor product quality and an overall bad experience (i.e. waiting 6 weeks to get your order).
And that makes it pretty hard to sleep at night.
But with Digital Real Estate, you’re actually helping people by solving your clients’ biggest problem:
Small, local businesses need more customers, and with Digital Real Estate, you are unleashing a flood of happy, paying customers for these businesses.
You make money by helping them make money.
Not a big, faceless corporation either…a small business owner who’s using that money to put food on the table for their family, start a college fund for their kids, or take care of a sick parent.
Once you see how Digital Real Estate makes a real impact in the lives of real people, you’ll sleep like a baby with a big smile on your face.
Now, the choice is yours. You could continue browsing, looking at opportunities like Anton Kraly’s course which could one day make you money.
You could continue researching, never making a decision.
OR, you could take a look inside, consider what you really want, and join a program that makes your dreams a reality. At the same time, joining a community of over 2,000 successful students that are living life on their own terms thanks to Digital Real Estate.
A consistent, reliable, semi-passive stream of income that doesn’t depend on you or your time to keep producing profits.
All while genuinely helping real people who are grateful and happy to pay for it.
If this sounds more like what you want out of life (or if you just want some nice side income), click here to learn more about Digital Real Estate.
