You may have heard or read about a company that provides energy and gas while also offering a “business opportunity.”
If you did, you’ve just discovered Ambit Energy.
To begin, congratulations on taking the time to do your own research prior to investing in any “seemingly appearing nice” product.
That is how to avoid scammers and find legal ways to generate money online.
This review will go over Ambit Energy to see if it really is the best MLM course out there.
You’ll learn whether MLM is the right online business for you and if you can achieve financial freedom from it.
Now, I want to be completely honest here, so…
This Ambit Energy review has been thoroughly researched with information and testimonials that are available online to anyone in the public. Any conclusions drawn by myself are opinions.
And at the end, you’ll find answers to some of the most frequently asked questions regarding Ambit Energy and MLM in general.
But most importantly, you’ll see the exact system many others have used to build their own internet marketing company to over $40,000 a month in mostly passive income.
Ambit Energy is a multi-level marketing (MLM) energy company that supplies electricity and natural gas.
Ambit Energy was established in 2006 by Jere Thompson Jr. and Chris Chambless and has its headquarters in Dallas, Texas.
Ten years later, they are acknowledged to be at the forefront of solar energy services, offering their products and services in 17 states throughout the United States.
Ambit Energy reached the billion-dollar club in February 2013, together with other MLM companies such as Team National, Primerica, and Melaleuca.
Ambit Energy was bought by Vistra Energy in November 2019.
Ambit is now a part of a leading, integrated energy company, and it is better positioned to address the demands of its residential and commercial customers.
The success and continuous expansion of Ambit Energy drew the attention of Vistra Energy, another innovative company with a reputation for excellence. The term is derived from a blend of vision and tradition.
When the leaders of the two companies started chatting, they realized that they shared key values such as honesty, innovation, a customer-centric approach, excellence, and excitement.
The establishment of Ambit Energy demonstrated that large energy businesses cannot have a monopoly in their industry. Ambit Energy distributes its services via distributors known as Independent Consultants.
Ambit Energy now serves 17 states in the United States with natural gas and electricity. I don’t have any pricing to show you right now since they differ by state.
Here is a list of the products and services they provide:
Ambit Energy has been assisting small and big companies in lowering their energy costs for over a decade.
They have professionals on their team that assist with the process and save them money by giving special benefits and reasonable costs.
Solar Savings from Ambit Energy is another alternative for ecologically conscientious customers. They are able to deliver solar services to 6 of their 17 locations countrywide thanks to their relationship with Sunrun, a major solar energy provider.
This is a fantastic selling pitch, but it’s a double-edged sword since it’s only available in six states.
Despite its resemblance to a pyramid scheme, network marketing is not illegal.
The system is not illegal if there is a product or service involved that may be marketed to customers.
Ambit Energy, under this definition, is not a pyramid scheme.
True, there is a hierarchical structure with a CEO at the top, followed by levels of executive, managers, and lastly employees.
When we look at the true definition of a pyramid scheme, we can see that the perpetual need to attract new members is a crucial part of a pyramid scheme. That is the distinction between network marketing and companies that are not pyramid schemes.
Normal businesses only recruit new employees to replace those who depart or when the company is developing quickly enough to warrant it. Ambit Energy doesn’t care how many consultants join up since it costs them nothing to recruit them and they just pay them based on their performance.
Ambit Energy is certainly not a scam. It’s not a wonderful MLM company, but it’s also not the worst.
Their products are good, and their compensation plan is simple enough to grasp without the assistance of one of their consultants.
The lack of transparency by the company is what makes it difficult to suggest this to anybody. Because their income disclosure statement can’t be viewed, it is natural to conclude that the bulk, if not all, of their consultants, aren’t generating any actual money.
It is entirely possible to build a profitable, successful MLM business… But there are better ways to build a company other than with MLM.
Yes, You can!
There’s a lot that comes along with MLM that many people struggle with.
Now, don’t get the wrong idea…
It’s not impossible to make money with MLM, but if you’re gonna put in the amount of grueling work to do this field (which, trust us, isn’t easy), you might as well bring in some REAL money while you’re learning the ropes.
You have to go through their 4-page Compensation Plan in order to comprehend their business opportunity.
You will see in their Compensation Plan that there are other benefits to joining Ambit Energy that you will be able to take advantage of right away:
1.The possibility to earn free energy: you will get this reward after introducing 15 customers to Ambit Energy as their energy provider. This makes their MLM program worthwhile.
2.Ambit Energy travel incentives may also be earned by referring clients or earning reward points that can be swapped for trips. Even if it doesn’t make a profit, free things are always welcome.
The Compensation Plan tries its best not to go into too much detail, but we are able to gather three ways to make money with Ambit Energy from their compensation plan.
First, there are the customer and team bonuses. This is paid weekly and enables you to start making money quickly under the program.
You just bring in customers while supporting others to do the same. You may receive $100 by accumulating four customer points.
You may earn these points by enrolling customers in an energy plan or a personal website package.
Then you get $100 for assisting someone else to do the same, thus the recruiting aspect of their opportunity.
This is the majority of their consumers’ earning potential, and that is what their Independent Consultants are aiming for.
The amount you earn in residual commissions varies depending on the market in which you operate in the United States.
You may create a network of 6 levels of the downline and earn commissions depending on the consumer activity of your downlines.
To put it another way, if they make money, so do you.
This is where you get benefits when you sign up a new MC or Marketing Consultant and he or she earns four customers points in the first four weeks. You will also be paid a residual bonus depending on the number of Marketing Consultant customers in your downline.
Leadership bonuses are also given out on a regular basis, based on customer activity across the organization. All leadership bonuses are based on your level within the organization.
Your bonuses will be larger the more active your downline is.
Ambit Energy used to charge a one-time fee of $429 to enroll. They’ve now dropped it to $75, and It’s unlikely they’ll be raising it very soon.
In addition to the one-time fee, you will be charged a monthly recurring fee of $24.95 for personal website maintenance.
That’s pretty much it when it comes to the cost of joining Ambit Energy.
Ambit Energy has established a smart, easy-to-use Consultant support system intended to help build your team such as building tools, guidance, and unlimited training that existing Ambit Consultants may use every day to achieve higher results. And, after the first investment, this support is completely free.
When compared to other MLMs, Ambit Energy has a few advantages:
1. It’s a billion-dollar company.
Ambit Energy has established itself as a big company.
It was named the fastest-growing company in the United States in 2010, and it was valued at a billion dollars in 2013.
This is just more indication that Ambit Energy is legitimate and will not vanish overnight, as many MLM companies do.
2. Electricity is a monthly expense that many people cannot avoid.
The Ambit Energy services given are not going away anytime soon.
Unlike many other crowded MLM markets such as Beautycounter, Rodan and Fields, or Young Living, every family and company need the services supplied by Ambit Energy.
3. Green energy.
With regard to green energy, there has been a significant shift in public opinion.
Many people are becoming more aware of the dangers surrounding global warming, and if they can find a legitimate way to feel as if they are making a contribution, many will take advantage of it.
This is a significant selling feature for Ambit Energy, and it is how they can position themselves from other energy providers.
There are several hidden truths that the majority of people will never learn about until they join and it is too late:
1. Price increases.
The most prevalent complaint on the BBB and consumer affairs is that energy rates were either too expensive in comparison to alternatives or there was a significant price increase after their 1-2 year contract ended.
2. Monthly expenses.
The $24.95 monthly fee for a replica website is ludicrous when compared to other MLM companies.
You would believe that this includes training and other benefits, but this is just basic stuff. You will need to pay for further training if you want to learn how to attract visitors to this website.
Having a website does not guarantee that people will discover it. The difficult part is figuring out how to get people to find the website, and Ambit Energy doesn’t help with that.
3. Compensation Plan
There is little to no information accessible on their compensation plan data (they don’t even have average rates), and their website has simply a video.
Because the residual payments are minimal, you’ll need to bring in a large number of people to make it worthwhile.
So, if their income potential is to supply free energy, who paid the $1.20 billion in energy bills in 2016?
If you want to save money on your bills or achieve financial freedom, be sure to examine all of your options. Also, before you sign anything, be sure to read the terms and conditions. Certain bargains may seem to be good at first glance, but they may wind up costing you more in the long run.
If you are searching for a new business opportunity, take your time and carefully consider all of your alternatives. If you believe you have what it takes to earn a profit as an Ambit consultant, you may make money with Ambit Energy.
But, when it comes to building a business, you have plenty of options.
And even if you’re dead set on becoming an MLM marketer, you’ve got way better options than Ambit Energy.
Keep in mind, I don’t get paid to promote any of the programs I review. I personally think MLM is a great business model, but you could end up leaving way too much money on the table.
Our review team has come across a program in the real estate industry that is next level!
Although it’s not real estate in the traditional sense, it’s all digital.
Where Ambit Energy falls short is in scalability.
There’s only so much time in a day and there are only so many people you can reach to sell by yourself.
MLM companies know this! Which is why they push so hard for you to recruit for your downline…you can’t get rich with it as a one-man/woman show.
But what if you could make even more money off of little local websites without having to spend hundreds of dollars on overpriced products and a bunch of time recruiting people to sell under you?
With this digital real estate program, you can make recurring monthly income without constant sales to your friends and constant recruitment!
Sound too good to be true? Of course it does! But it isn’t…in fact, business owners wish they had this skill!
All you have to do is build and rank a LOCAL website and forward the jobs off to a business owner in town, you could even email it to them!
This works for literally any service based business, tree service, plumbing, towing, etc.
How do you get paid and how much?
Simple, after you forward the jobs off to a business owner and he makes some money off of them, you simply ask to make the deal beneficial for each other.
A fair price to charge per lead, depending on the industry is 10-20%…let’s just use the tree service industry for example and go by worst case scenario.
Let’s say you build and rank the site and only 10 jobs a month come in. The average tree service job is anywhere from $500-$2000!
That means at bare minimum you have an asset worth $500 a month!
See why they call it digital real estate now? That’s a rent payment.
The great thing is how easy it is to scale. You don’t have to worry about:
Remember Ambit Energy? You only get what’s left of the pie if you meet a monthly quota…
The course we recommend actually allows you to collect HUGE FLAT RATE DEALS. Truly passive income!
The training program takes making money online to a whole other level. The owner of the program walks you through how to build and rank a site hand in hand, with the occasional voice over when he is sharing his screen.
You will learn the importance of keywords, website name, how to send call notifications via email, backlinking, etc.
Once the training program is completed you will also have access to a Facebook group much better than the Ambit Energy MLM in our opinion. This group is much more active.
Unlike Ambit Energy, where you’re getting maybe $10 per sale, you could be getting 10-20X THAT.
A business will always want more leads and another job. In fact it doesn’t even matter that the job isn’t coming from their website name…they see it as it is…expanding digital real estate.
Unlike Ambit Energy, more people have been able to walk away from their 9-5 job as well.
Digital real estate allows you to have total passive income with most of your day being spent WITH your friends, NOT selling to them.
Now, I know you probably have tons of questions…
