Allen Iverson Net Worth Update

But how did he make his money?

The one thing that’s well-known about ultra high net worth individuals (UHNWs) – the folks worth at least $30 million USD – is that virtually ALL of them have some part of their fortune in real estate.

Many of the more famous rich people and “celebrity entrepreneurs” actually got their start in real estate. And that’s great for them! Not so much for us…

See, more millionaires are created during recessions than any other part of the economic cycle. Which is cool, except the last real recession was 2008, when real estate prices were in the tank and you could buy a whole neighborhood with $100,000.

Now, though, real estate prices are through the roof, and interest rates are skyrocketing too. So how does the everyday person start building a massive net worth in an economy like this one?

Have you considered Digital Real Estate?

The internet’s been around for decades, but the possibility of actually owning high-value pieces of property ON the internet is fairly new. In other words, it’s a wide open playing field…but it won’t stay that way forever.

Here’s a quick summary of how Digital Real Estate works: You invest a little money (maybe around $100) to either purchase or build a piece of “land” on the internet.

You specifically place this “land” in a high-traffic area, where lots of people pass through (just like traditional real estate, it’s all about Location, Location, Location). The folks who pass through your “land” all happen to be looking for a specific product or service, so you “rent” your land to a business owner who happens to offer that product or service.

The business owner pays you $500 to $2,000 a month to “rent” your Digital Real Estate, because it helps them connect with their ideal customers.

Think of it like buying a strip mall, or an office space, just on the internet, for WAAAAYYY less money and headache.

One million dollars is Allen Iverson’s net worth as an American former professional basketball player.

Former professional basketball player Allen Ezail Iverson, well known by his nick name “The Answer,” hails from Hampton, Virginia. Over the course of his career, Iverson alternated between the positions of shooting guard and point guard.

On four separate occasions between 1998 and 2005, he was the NBA’s leading scorer and now owns the record for the second-highest average per-game score behind Michael Jordan.

It’s widely accepted that Allen is one of the best basketball players ever to have lived. For all his success, Allen Iverson’s salary and finances have been impacted by overspending and a divorce, as well as the difficulties of divorce and life in general.

So many people are wondering, “Is Allen Iverson Broke?” As a result of his assertions that he was broke, a Georgia court ordered the confiscation of all of Allen Iverson’s bank accounts on February 14th, 2012. Iverson earned more than $155 million in pay during his playing days, so this is a stunning discovery.

A 2009 bar brawl between Iverson’s security officer and an Ohio man sued Iverson resulted in a $2.5 million lawsuit. Iverson’s ex-wife accused him in 2013 of kidnapping his own children, a charge he denied.

early Life

A 15-year-old woman named Ann Iverson gave birth to a baby named Allen Iverson, who was given her maiden name when his father Allen Broughton abandoned her.

Iverson was nicknamed “Bubba Chuck” when he was a boy in Hampton, Virginia. It was a boyhood pal who remarked that Iverson was always there for the younger kids, and that “He could teach anyone.”

Michael Freeman, Iverson’s father figure, was caught in front of the teen for drug selling when he was 13. Due to a lack of attendance in the eighth grade, Iverson was expelled and relocated out of the projects.

He attended Bethel High School, where he played quarterback, running back, kick returner, and defensive back for the school’s football team. As a high school basketball player, he was a starter at point guard.

With both teams winning state titles in his junior year, Iverson played and was named The Associated Press High School Player of the Year in both sports, as well. AAU basketball star Iverson was a member of the Boo Williams squad that took home the 1992 national title for the 17-and-under age group.

Allen Iverson began dating Tawanna Turner, his high school love, when he was 16 years old. Allen Iverson II, Isaiah Rahsaan Iverson, Tiaura Iverson, Dream Alijha Iverson, and Messiah Lauren Iverson are the couple’s five children. In March 2010, Tawant to filed for divorce. The couple divorced in 2013, but the pair reunited barely a month after the divorce was finalized.

Career

Before being selected by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 1996 NBA Draft, he briefly attended Georgetown University. One of the finest point guards in NBA history, he finally became an 11-time NBA All-Star and was included in the 2016 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

On or off his NBA career, Allen Iverson was a divisive figure. Georgetown University head coach John Thompson initially scouted him from a Virginia prison cell.

Iverson had been caught for his role in a bar brawl and was facing a significant jail term as a result. In spite of Thompson’s desires, Iverson left Georgetown up and headed on to become an NBA all-star point guard.

With the 76ers, Iverson made his first appearance in the playoffs in 1999. Allen Iverson signed his deal for an additional six years and $70 million before the start of the following season.

A failed attempt to trade Iverson by the 76ers to offload Iverson in the winter of 2000 followed Iverson’s repeated clashes with coach Larry Brown. Iverson was the driving force behind the team’s 2001 championship run. Due to a sprained thumb, Iverson missed to play in the USA’s last two games.

During that same season, he was also selected MVP. Allen spent ten years with the franchise before being sent to the Denver Nuggets, when he competed for two seasons.

After a brief time with the Detroit Pistons and the Memphis Grizzlies, he returned to the 76ers for one season before moving on to other teams. He was forced to play in the Turkish Basketball League as well as the Eurocup towards the conclusion of his career after being virtually ignored by NBA clubs in the United States.

On December 31, 2013, he announced his retirement from basketball. Between 1998 and 2005, he was the NBA’s leading scorer four times, and his per-game scoring average is second only to that of Michael Jordan.
