7 Figure Franchise Review 2023: Scam or Legit?

Is 7 Figure Franchise A Scam? – Michael Cheney Again!

I'm guessing you are here because you've stumbled upon Michael Cheney's traffic generation course, 7 Figure Franchise, through someone online recommending it.

There's a ton of them out there trying to earn money as Michael's affiliates.

Michael Cheney is known for being an excellent sales copywriter which I've covered in some of my other reviews - and as such, for making a lot of hype as seen below.

This bold claim to "force you to make money whether you like it or not..." in 7 Figure Franchise raises a huge red flag, if you ask me.

And as if this isn't enough, he also said that his 7 Figure Franchise training course is a "turnkey solution" to earn quickly even if you're a newbie.

But to give this course the benefit of the doubt, in this review I'll give you my unbiased take of this product to help you decide if it's something worth investing your money and time.

We're going to review multiple aspects of 7 Figure Franchise to decide if it really is the best affiliate marketing training course out there.

We'll talk about whether affiliate marketing is the right online business for you.

At the end, I'll answer some of the most frequently asked questions regarding 7 Figure Franchise and affiliate marketing in general.

And most important, I'll show you the exact system I used to build my own internet marketing business to over $40,000 a month in mostly passive income.

This system made me swear off just affiliate marketing for good, because it uses some of the same skills in a much more powerful and profitable way!

DISCLAIMER:

This 7 Figure Franchise review has been thoroughly researched with information and testimonials that are available to anyone in the public. Any conclusions drawn by myself are opinions.

PROS
  • Michael is a real person
  • Decent video training
  • 60-Day 200% Money-Back Guarantee
CONS

  • Inability to Build Your Own Business

Why Listen To Us

My name is Josiah, and this is my Dad, Joel.why listen us

Together, we make up the team here at Scamrisk.

If you’ll let me bother you for two minutes, I’d like to quickly explain why I’m even here writing this review.

In early 2020, I had just graduated from college & had no real career prospects.

I knew I was destined for something more, but I had no clue how I was going to make it happen.

I had this sinking feeling in my gut all the time… like the “big man upstairs” had accidentally given me the version of life where I’d be mediocre forever, instead of the one where I was, ya know – happy & fulfilled.

Anyway…

I had fiddled around with some different online businesses in college:

Some random MLMs, a bit of affiliate marketing, a (failed) dropshipping store or two, all the usual suspects.

Even my dad had been involved in MLMs back in the day… selling knives & other random nonsense people (probably) didn’t need.

All I really wanted was to find something that was going to actually work for me.

Maybe those things had worked for others, but for me it all turned up a fat “0” in the bank account department.

So I searched! And searched… and searched… and searched…

And eventually, I somehow stumbled upon a program that promised to help me build an income online (read about it here if you’re curious).

I didn’t really want to be “rich”.

The thought of making a reliable $5K per month & not having to worry about clocking in to a 9-to-5 ever again was all I needed.

Sure, there were people in the program doing high-6 and low-7 figures per year… but that wasn’t what I was out for.

I just wanted to provide freedom for myself, and if I was lucky, take my family along for the ride.

Fast forward a few days and a few phone calls & I was enrolled!

Here’s the first “money making website” I put up:

why listen us gif

I built that site in 2020, and it still makes me $1,500 per month. It’s a basic 5 page website I built based on a template the program provides.

The best part to me? My dad and I get to do it all together!

So between the:

  1. Ease of reaching $5-$10K per month in income online

  2. Straightforward-ness of the system to do it

  3. Fact that I get to do it w/ my family

Is why I recommend local lead generation as my #1 business model for making money online.

Sure, it takes some work and dedication – but anyone that tells you that there’s a business out there that requires no work is selling you a lemon.

I’m not saying you need to sign up for the same program I did, but I would definitely recommend giving the business model a peek!

What Is 7 Figure Franchise (7FF)?

The 7 Figure Franchise concept is comparable to that of a traditional franchise enterprise, hence the term, 7 Figure "Franchise."

What makes this 7 figure franchise program different is that its operation is online-based rather than in a physical set-up.

You receive a share of the commission every time you sell a product.

How 7 Figure Franchise works

Below is a rundown of the entire process:

  1. Buy the product for $1,997 and become a 7 figure franchisee.
  2. Learn how to attract traffic through the training and sell affiliate items.
  3. Direct traffic or online visitors to the landing page of The Commission Machine, the first product in Michael's sales funnel.
  4. Michael will contact you through email to follow up on your referral.
  5. Eventually, he'll use email to advertise high-ticket products such as the 7 Figure Franchise.
  6. You are compensated if someone purchases one of Michael's products.

Michael's 7 Figure Franchise Sales Funnel

Below is a JVZoo screenshot:

According to the website, 7 Figure Franchise is valued at $4,997 and is just one of over 121 additional products in Michael's entire sales funnel.

Later, I'll explain why the price is $4,997. However, 121 goods in a sales funnel is simply ridiculous.

This clearly demonstrates that Michael is only a marketer who's out to make money for himself.

To generate money, legit marketers will not offer a variety of products that are similar.

They would normally concentrate on one product or two and strive to make them work.

Below is a Michael's other products available on JVZoo:

  • Commissionology
  • 7 Figure Franchise
  • Commission Cartel
  • Commission Black Ops
  • How To Scope For Cash
  • List Building Black Ops
  • Email Black Ops
  • The Commission Machine
  • Childs Play Profits
  • Fan Page Money Method
  • FB Money Templates
  • Fast-Track Facebook Traffic

This is a long list of things made by a single marketer.

Have you noticed the similarity of the names?

They all revolve around the business model known as affiliate marketing since that is Michael's expertise.

He's merely using somewhat different techniques in creating multiple items, which means he'll have more income streams.

Nevertheless, 7 Figure Franchise is his "ultimate product" in his long list of other products since it is the priciest, and by availing the 7 Figure Franchise alone, you get to use all the other products as well.

Besides this, you can resell all products and make up to 100% commission on the front-end items.

And you get a commission of 50% valued at $1k every time your referral buys the 7 Figure Franchise.

Inside 7 Figure Franchise

Now let's take a look at the 7 Figure Franchise training and tools that are included in the membership.

Step 1: Welcome Video

Welcome

The first thing you'll see when you join the members section is a welcome video by Michael Cheney that will give you a quick summary of everything you need to accomplish.

Step 2: Get Approval & Your Links

  1. Sign up as a JVZoo affiliate
  2. Request approval to market The Commission Machine
  3. Promote Michael's additional products and funnels (optional)

Step 2 focuses on assisting you in becoming Michael's affiliate via JVZoo and guiding you in obtaining your affiliate links.

Step 3: Traffic Generation

Step 3 focuses on the two primary elements of traffic generation: free traffic and paid traffic.

Michael teaches the following free traffic methods:

  • Facebook Marketing
  • Guest Posting
  • Forum Marketing
  • Twitter Marketing
  • Instagram & Pinterest Marketing

Because Michael is primarily a free traffic marketer, he exclusively covers Solo Ads for Paid Traffic.

He takes you to Igor Kheifets' website for Solo Ads as he's one of the experts in Solo Ads.

But, just so you know, Michael will receive an affiliate commission when you buy any Solo Ads from Igor using the link provided to you since it is his own affiliate link.

Inside 7 Figure Franchise traffic generation

BONUS: Done-For-You Affiliate Promos

These are simply pre-written Email Swipes from Michael that you can copy and paste and share to your subscribers.

BONUS: The 7 Figure Seminar

This is Michael's series of Exclusive Event Recordings, comprising seven sessions around 1-2 hours in length.

This section, I believe, presents some value.

After all, it's Michael's live seminar content.

He can't possibly be defrauding people in a live lecture, can he?

BONUS: Free Products

The "Free products" are basically the free access you get to all of his products that I've mentioned earlier.

By signing up for 7 Figure Franchise, you gain access to all products as well as the right in reselling them, which would mean more commissions for you.

BONUS: Screenshot Consultancy

Finally, here is Michael's 30-day one-on-one support.

Being a member of the 7 Figure Franchise, you are entitled to 30 days of exclusive consultation with Michael.

But here's my question...

What happens at the end of 30 days?

After 30 days, of course, this support will be cut off and there is no other way you can get assistance!

Upsell: Insiders ($4,997)

Let's start with the $4,997.

I first assumed that 7 Figure Franchise was the final upsell in his sales funnel because it included all of the other front-end items.

I first assumed that 7 Figure Franchise was the final upsell in his sales funnel because it included all of the other front-end items. Obviously, I was mistaken.

"Insiders," valued at $4,997, is actually an upsell from the $7 Figure Franchise.

You will receive the following benefits as an Insider member:

  • Michael will help you advertise your affiliate link to his Facebook and Twitter followers twice to instantly generate traffic for you.
  • Cell Phone support for 180 days from Michael himself. Deep in mind that 7 Figure Franchise only offers 30-day assistance via online screenshots.
  • Every Insider sale earns you a $2,500 commission.
  • For 12 months, you will gain a space in Michael's high-traffic and high-profile blog.

In terms of payment, you can make a deposit of $997 and then pay the remaining $4,000 in seven days.

So, effectively, Insider is a "membership level" that allows you to use Michael's social influence to get a better outcome.

Pros & Cons

7 figure franchise pros and cons

The Pros

1. Michael Is A Real Person.

I've seen far too many scam businesses with an unknown or undisclosed creator or founder.

The majority merely pose as the proprietor of a bogus persona. However, the actual owner is hidden behind his or her computer, generating money in an unethical and illegal manner.

Michael personally appears in every video, so you can be sure that he is a real person

2. Decent Video Training

The majority of traffic generating training is available for free online so there is really nothing major here.

The Exclusive Event Recordings are the more useful training, in my opinion.

However, Michael's training lacks a number of important affiliate marketing components which I'll go through in the Cons section.

3. 60-Day 200% Money-Back Guarantee

Finally, there is a 60-day, money-back guarantee.

But here's the tricky part...

Michael promised that if you don't recoup your upfront investment within 60 days, he will not only give a refund, but will also pay you 100 percent more than what you've initially invested.

This is a really appealing offer, but if you pay attention, you will notice that there are quite a few requirements for it:

  • Each day, you need to generate a minimum of 35 unique clicks into the sales funnels utilizing free traffic.
  • You need to bring a minimum of 100 new friends to your FB profile each week and post at least three times a day.

These appear to be simple, but the most difficult aspect is...

"You must document daily in a Google spreadsheet every Facebook post you make, every friend-getting session you undertake (including number of friends added) and the date of each of both of these activities in the Google spreadsheet. You must also share the clicks and traffic data in this spreadsheet which you get from these activities to demonstrate you are getting at least 35 clicks per day over the 60 day period."

Essentially, you must capture everything in a Google spreadsheet and share it with them.

Yes, it's a reasonable requirement, however it is incredibly difficult to fulfill.

I don't think they'll give you a refund because they may just declare you don't satisfy the requirements and so aren't entitled for one.

I have no proof to back up my suspicions, but it's a valid concern, I believe.

The Cons

1. Extremely Hyped Up!

You really won't know what you're actually getting until you're a paying customer, as in the case of Michael's products.

In his sales presentation, Michael never once mentions what his items would be about.

All he does is constantly making income claims, false promises, or telling you his own tale.

7 figure franchise cons

Make REAL money online legitimately & ethically is not that easy!

His products' overarching theme is that if you buy his "turnkey solution," you can quickly make a lot of money with little effort.

2. Very Limited Training

Even though they do have some decent training in place, it is rather limited.

It's primarily about generating free traffic. That's all there is to it. You will not be acquiring other crucial skills such as:

  • Choosing a niche?
  • Choosing winning affiliate products
  • Building a website
  • Harnessing good copywriting techniques
  • Building and profiting from a sales funnel

3. Inability to Build Your Own Business

In the short term, using Michael's existing sales funnel might be a viable plan. You do  have the potential to earn money here.

But the thing is what if his company goes out of business one day?

That suggests that you will also be out of business. So, not knowing how to start your own business puts you and your money at a huge risk.

Let me rephrase that for you and make it more obvious:

You are not taught the abilities to start your own business!

Even if you only know how to obtain cheap traffic, you won't be able to generate money since you won't know how to pick the correct products or sell them to the proper target audience.

What I propose is that you master these abilities so that they will be YOURS for the rest of your life.

In this way, you will be self-sufficient, having complete authority over your own business and future.

That should be the course of action!

There are other income-generating opportunities out there that won't leave you unable to maximize your full potential as an entrepreneur.

Instead of relying on others, you are establishing your own foundation and business.

4. Unrealistic Testimonials

This person stated that after signing up for Michael's 7 Figure Franchise, he made $1k within only 12 hours.

There are several other testimonials boasting to have made thousands of dollars in only a few hours.

Quite frankly, I have no concrete proof that they're counterfeit, but it's possible, isn't it?

The 7 Figure Franchise training can't even be completed in 12 hours, let alone producing $1,000 in 12 hours!

Yes, this COULD be true.

However, the only reason I see here could be because he is already a veteran internet marketer, perhaps someone like Richard Legg who can simply exploit Michael's sales funnel and earn from it that fast.

Otherwise, this is a phony or made-up testimonial.

Fake testimonials are very popular nowadays, particularly because you can easily buy them from services offered in Fiverr for as little as $5.

In reality, I've discovered a number of scam products that use Fiverr actors to write phony testimonials.

Check out for yourself in the 30 Minute Money Method, Paid Social Media Jobs, and the 60 Minute Profit Plan, to mention a few.

5. Lack Of Support In The Long Run

Support is critical for anybody looking to make money online, particularly newbies in the industry.

Michael does have some assistance in place, such as the 30-Day one-on-one counseling. After which, you are completely left on your own.

What makes it worse is that they don't have any forum or community groups in any social media platforms as an alternative.

This is in contrast to other and better affiliate marketing training out there, where you get support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week because there is a large community of millions of members.

In addition, a technical support staff is often available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist you with any technical concerns.

6. Michael Is a Spammer!

And finally, I regret to inform you that Michael is a spammer!

Michael places a high priority on his email marketing.

He has set up a large number of autoresponder emails to send marketing offers to his subscribers.

Michael, on the other hand, is doing it wrong!

He sends at least two to three emails to one subscriber every day. And they're all about selling.

The proper way to approach email marketing is to first establish a relationship. First, provide value to your customers before asking them to buy anything from you.

Today's internet marketing isn't about promotion anymore. It's more on establishing a connection.

Michael, unfortunately, is doing it wrong.

Can You Really Make Money With 7 Figure Franchise?

Make Money With 7 Figure Franchise

Yes, You can!

But...

There's a lot that comes along with Affiliate Marketing that many people struggle with.

In fact, check out our Top 5 Reason Why Affiliate Marketers Fail.

Now, don't get me wrong...

You can certainly make money with 7 Figure Franchise, but if you're gonna put in the amount of grueling work to do this business (which, trust me, isn't easy), you might as well bring in some REAL money while you're learning the ropes.

The program that helped skyrocket my online business to $40,000+ per month is so simple that making money really does become second nature.

Is 7 Figure Franchise A Scam?

Scam or Legit

To sum up this review, 7 Figure Franchise isn't a scam since the members section contains actual, legitimate stuff, plus it is also possible for you to earn real money.

However, I strongly advise against purchasing this product because you are essentially getting a franchise license for the resale of Michael's low-quality items.

Buying his products will not help you create your own legitimate business in the long term.

Rather, you'll be squandering your valuable time and money.

Instead of attempting to acquire quick money and become wealthy, you should first lay a solid foundation.

It is entirely possible to build a profitable, successful online business easier without 7 Figure Institute, however.

My #1 pick proves this.

And unlike Entre Institute, it actually provides REAL PROOF of real success from real people as recently as a few days ago.

What Is Our Top Recommendation For Making Money Online In 2024?

Digital Leasing

Our review team has come across a program in the real estate industry that is next level!

Although it’s not real estate in the traditional sense, it’s all digital.

Yup, Digital Leasing!

Where 7 Figure Institute falls short is in scalability.

You can’t realistically expect to be able to set up a bunch of different Affiliate Marketing blogs and get NATIONAL traffic to them.

It just takes too many resources (money included) for any regular person to bootstrap.

But what if you could make even more money off of little local websites without having to spend tens of thousands to set up an affiliate blog?

With this Digital Leasing program, you can profit off LOCAL traffic to your website every single day!

Sound too good to be true?

Of course it does!

But it isn’t…in fact, business owners wish they had this skill!

All you have to do is build and rank a LOCAL website and forward the jobs off to a business owner in town, you could even email it to them!

This works for literally any service based business, tree service, plumbing, towing, etc.

How do you get paid and how much?

Simple, after you forward the jobs off to a business owner and he makes some money off of them, you simply ask to make the deal beneficial for each other.

A fair price to charge per lead, depending on the industry is 10-20%…let’s just use the tree service industry for example and go by worst case scenario.

Let’s say you build and rank the site and only 10 jobs a month come in. The average tree service job is anywhere from $500-$2000!

That means at bare minimum you have an asset worth $500 a month!

See why they call it Digital Leasing now?

That’s a rent payment.

The great thing is how easy it is to scale. You don’t have to worry about spending boatloads of money on a single traffic source to get CRUMBS in affiliate income.

Remember 7 Figure Institute talking about their little 10% commission off a $50 product?

This one actually allows you to collect HUGE FLAT RATE DEALS. Truly passive income!

The training program takes making money online to a whole other level. The owner of the program walks you through how to build and rank a site hand in hand, with the occasional voice over when he is sharing his screen.

You will learn the importance of keywords, website name, how to send call notifications via email, backlinking, etc.

Once the training program is completed you will also have access to a Facebook group much better than the 7 Figure Institute group in our opinion. This group is much more active.

Unlike 7 Figure Institute, where you’re getting maybe $5 per sale, you could be getting 10-20X THAT.

TESTIMONIAL - Scott Lead Gen

A business will always want more leads and another job. In fact it doesn’t even matter that the job isn’t coming from their website name…they see it as it is…expanding Digital Leasing.

Unlike 7 Figure Institute, more people have been able to walk away from their 9-5 job as well.

Now, I know you probably have tons of questions…

So, check this out to learn more.
