What Is Bad Ass Marketers?
Bad Ass Marketers (aka BAM) is a work from home digital marketing training course, lead by founder Joshua T. Osborne. His training process teaches you the skill set you need to know to make money through SEO, Local Lead Generation, Social Media and running Facebook ads for local business owners.
A pretty good model considering how the current real estate market is dying fast. If they’re to be believed as well, you’ll see profit margins much greater than that of physical real estate as well!
They claim that with some hard work and determination, you can make money by just passing off a phone call to a business owner.
What Is Lead Generation?
Lead generation is the process of building and ranking a website through SEO on google. The “real estate” tie in is that there is only so much “real estate” on the first page of google. Only 10 spots to be specific.
All real Bad Ass Marketers know that the first page has enormous monetary value because of all the commerce that is done on it.
Take the roofing market for example.
A quick search in any local market, or even a chat with a friend of yours in town with a roofing company, and you’ll be able to find out roughly how many roofs are getting built each month.
Now assuming the average roof is about $10,000…if the market is getting 100 jobs come through each month…that’s $1,000,000 of market share you can tap into.
How do you get a sliver of that you ask?
By owning a piece of real estate of where the calls come from.
The way to do that is…
You guessed it…
Having a website ranked on the first page of google.
If you had just 10 roofing jobs come through your website…that’s a potential of $100,000 of revenue for a business owner. They wouldn’t mind throwing 10% of the jobs your way, in fact, that’s how most contractors deal with referrals!
Imagine that!
You could earning 10k a month simply for redirecting some roofing calls.
Roofing isn’t the only industry though…there’s literally hundreds of industries where this process works!

Ok so now that you know a little bit about the Training Course and what it’s all about…let’s take a closer look at their founder!
Founder Of BAM: Joshua T. Osborne
Josh had a little bit of a rough upbringing. He was constantly in and out of trouble, in and out of jail… and even served 2 years in solitary confinement.
Needless to say, he’s not the kind of guy who gets shook.
However, when he was in jail, he actually had a mentor come in and change his whole entire outlook on life.
Soon after, he got out of jail and started his own moving company. He became the largest moving company in Colorado!!
But he quickly realized that all he did was create his own job that he was constantly tied down to. He had absolutely no free time on his hands.
And I think we can all agree, what good is money…if you don’t have time to spend it or live with it the way that you want?
Josh then started looking for other opportunities that would allow him to earn the same kind of money, but have much more free time.
He landed upon this business model of digital real estate and just went ham.
Today Josh has over 100 of these websites and they all pay him day in and day out like clockwork.

Addressing The Other Reviews...
There are a couple different reviews out there by now that are trying to low key knock Joshua Osborne and BAM Digital Marketing.
Or at very least seed doubt in your mind about him and his program.
They always talk about how Josh is a member of a group called Job Killing and learned everything he knows from Dan Klein.
And while yes, Josh is in Job Killing and Dan Klein is Josh’s mentor…Josh has taken what Dan was able to give him and grown exponentially, he’s literally turned into a badass marketing expert.

Even being able to give back and help Dan with a thing or two here and there.
Job Killing and Dan are awesome. The group really is the OG of the digital marketing space.
However, it’s no secret that JK now has over 7,000 members while BAM University only has 1500.
You can probably see where this is going…
One of the biggest selling points with Job Killing is the support and the coaching. And while the support and coaching is better than DAMN NEAR every other group out there…
The group still has 7,000 members and it’s really tough to give everyone the attention they need to be successful at the business.
In BAM University there are only 1,500-ish members and the coaching is much more tight knit as you can probably imagine.
In fact, Dan’s group does live streams twice a week. Again, that’s already better than 99% of digital real estate programs out there. His track record for showing up for his students is insane.

Monday is a sales coaching live stream.
Tuesdays and Thursdays is handheld training for people in for their first 30 days.

After Josh mastered the art of digital real estate, he decided to start teaching others with his own course! Unlike other courses that stop at the SEO end of things, Josh shows you how to use Facebook and Google ads, and even how to talk with your prospective tenants!
Aside from some basic introduction videos and the VERY IMPORTANT goal setting module, you’ll get video training on the following:
Research
Where a lot of programs fall shy is research. Specifically with Amazon FBA courses. Anything they teach on research can be made irrelevant and not work properly in a very short amount of time.
However Google doesn’t change nearly as often and likewise the research strategies.
Nonetheless Josh regularly updates his training as needed with everything you need to know.
In this module he dives deep into numbers and analytics to help you determine what an ideal market looks like.

Literally everything up to publishing the site itself!
On Page SEO
In this module, Josh teaches you everything to make sure you have done on the pages of your website that are search engine friendly.
Everything from content, to headers, to meta tags, and descriptions. The main point here is that you want to make sure that when google is crawling your pages…they are seeing what you are wanting to target in the right areas.
- He shows you how to write or where to find stellar content
- He shows you how to properly select and change headers
- He shows you how to change and edit meta tag descriptions
Josh goes in-depth on all these things and much more in this section. He leaves nothing up for guess work!
Off Page SEO
In this module, Josh teaches you everything you need to know about the back end of the digital marketing websites.
- He shows you what a citation is, what the flow means, and it's golden ratio.
- He shows you what a backlink is and how to determine the good from the bad.
- He explains the difference between do-follow and no-follow backlinks.
- He shows you how to do backlink research.
- He even goes as far to show you where you can get your own backlinks for FREE!
This part of the training course goes over a very important skill set thoroughly. Off page SEO is something that many people consistently struggle with. But Mr. Osborne lays everything out and leaves nothing up to question with his Bad Ass Marketers program.
Google My Business Listing
This section of the training goes over how to set your GMB up from start to finish. You learn how to:
- Receive your postcard
- Photo optimization
- Citation strategy
- Writing reviews
One of the biggest things a potential customer for a service will look at besides the website, is the GMB.
This is for 2 reasons.
First, the GMB’s almost always show up at the top of search results for a given service and they get a lot of clicks.
But second, and most important, is the reviews!
A customer wants to make sure that whoever is providing the thing or service they need has good reviews by other people.
I think we can all agree, a business that has good reviews is going to be trusted over the company that has bad reviews or no reviews.
In fact, GMB’s with no reviews are known to just be ignored because people don’t think anyone else has done business with them and are nervous to be the first ones.
For all those reasons, that’s why this specific part of the training is important. On top of that, once you rank your GMB, you now have 2 pieces of real estate on the first page!
Facebook Ads
Ahhh social media…
Something marketers all over know way to much about.
He touches on how to run ads on Facebook to get leads for your clients as well. Why dominate just google when you can dominate Facebook as well???
BAM!
Google Ads
He also teaches people how to run ads on Google. This is a tactic used to get leads immediately for your client if your website isn’t ranked quite yet.
It’s pretty easy to set up and he walks you through the whole process.
Being able to run Google ads and get leads driven to your prospects / clients immediately is also a great way to build trust as a marketer.
There are a lot of marketing scams out there and business owners have been burned there fair share. So it’s no surprise that the slightest misstep could throw up a red flag to them and they might ghost you…

Sales Process
At this point a coach for an online video training course would probably just stop. But Josh goes that much further!
Josh shows you how to go from start to finish with a prospect.
He shows you how to cold call, how to record a screencast, and even how to have a conversation with prospective clients.
Sales is a skill set that other training programs leave out. The BAM course coach gives you all of it!
BAM Facebook Group
This is by far one of the high lights of the training course and program. When you become part of BAM and are vetted by your coach, you are given access to their private Facebook group.
This is a group where you can go and get any questions answered throughout your journey. On top of that, Josh and another coach will hop on live streams twice a week where you can hop on and ask questions face to face!
The Bad Ass Marketers Facebook group has hundreds of people in it from all over the world and is very diverse.
There are people in the group with endless digital marketing knowledge and there are some who are brand new.

You’ll typically run into a lot of naysayers that will criticize BAM (or any other program for that matter), mainly because it costs money.
To that we would simply ask…
Well, what doesn’t?
Think about it… anything worthwhile that you want to pursue is going to cost some amount of money.

- Going to the grocery store costs money.
- Getting a college education costs money.

However, BAM is not a scam (rhyme not intended).

BAM also has very thorough content through all its different modules. They leave no stone left unturned.

How Is BAM Different From Affiliate Marketing?
Affiliate Marketing is a highly competitive, highly saturated industry. The way you make money with AM is by ranking sites and getting people to purchases products through your affiliate link.
This is tough because almost anyone can become an affiliate marketer and the barrier of entry is very low. When there are a lot of people competing, few people can take home money.
Especially with the small commissions these companies offer. It would take the selling of 100’s of products just to make a decent amount each month.
But don’t forget…you have to pay big money for SEO and paid traffic via Facebook ads…this means your profits will be cut into very quickly.
On top of that, most affiliate marketers don’t break even in their first year and typically fail to see it through to success.
With BAM and the business model taught in there, you are only competing at a local level.
More often than not, these local businesses don’t have time to even know what SEO is, so going in and ranking the site for the keywords needed is a breeze!
Profits are much higher as well.
You could go flat rate at $1,000+ a month…but let’s just say worst case scenario you’re brand new and need to build some trust with your clients and have to go in on a commission deal.
If you have a site in the tree service industry the average job that will come through is anywhere from $500-$2,000. And if your commission is the industry average of 10-15%, you’re looking at taking home at minimum $500-$750 a month if you get just 10 jobs through your site.
You just don’t see numbers like that from affiliate marketers sites on average.
On top of that, it’s virtually all pocket money. Once your site is ranked, you have no costs aside from monthly hosting which is super cheap.

How Is Bad Ass Marketers Different From Amazon FBA?
When you sell products on Amazon FBA, you are totally owned by Amazon…they can shut you down at any moment and your income goes away right along with it.
Bad Ass Marketers and the digital real estate model is different because no one can take your site down off of Google. You own it, you control it.
With Amazon FBA you also have a high upfront cost. You typically need at least $5,000 to successfully launch a product…and you might lose everything.
Profit margins on Amazon are continuously shrinking because people are trying to edge out the other which is causing a race to the bottom.
Great for the consumer…terrible for the seller.
It’s getting to the point where sellers need to sell 1,000’s of products a month just make a little bit of profit.
And just like affiliate marketers…you will likely have to pay for advertising through Facebook or google ads.

BAM University is great. I’ve known Josh for a while and he’s doing great things. The growth of his students is great to see.
I saw a thread on reddit kinda talking smack about this course. I hopped on a call anyway. After my coach helped me really identify my “Why” I joined and haven’t looked back. 78 days later and I’m on pace for $9,340 in recurring with a margin of roughly 80% profit.
I was looking at another similar course called digital storefronts or something like that. I was going to join that one, but the reviews I found weren’t nearly as positive. And like I understand that there will always be some people talking trash, kinda like you guys mentioned, but it was just too much to ignore. Glad I was able to find BAM University through your blog.
I really like the idea of a smaller group!
I’ve seen a couple of the other reviews about BAM University as well. Seems like they’re just promoting wealthy affiliate or LMV. Affiliate Marketing is just too saturated and most people know that. LMV is ok if you just want to run Facebook ads…but honestly who can say they solely trust Facebook to not just suspend your account? Your income would tank. Mind did. I made $16,000 with Facebook ads for a few clients and then got shut down over night. It really hurt. At least with organic “digital real estate” you can practically never be shut down. Unless you do a bunch of shady stuff, but even then its hard to get google’s attention. They got bigger fish to fry. I mean I’m sold.
Seems like this is a fullstaq marketing course with the bread and butter being local lead gen. I like it. You see a lot of these other courses just promoting one thing and one thing only. At least this Josh Osborne guy admits that they all compliment each other to a degree. Nice and transparent.
That sidebar video is pretty informative. I watched that before reading the review lmao.
I like the fact this program offers a private facebook group that’s actually active. I’ve been in too many affiliate marketing and Amazon FBA groups that are essentially dead after I get access.
**Update**
I was pretty tempted to hop on a call after this review. I waited a few days, read some more reviews, even took a quiz. I went ahead and joined and I shit you not, there’s like a post in the group every 15-30 minutes. Insane!
So, what do you actually get when you join this program, is it pretty much a carbon copy of what you see with JK?
Hey Allison, For the most part the programs are the same in that they both teach about Digital Real Estate. However, JKs main focus is on building lead gen websites (which is great in and or itself), but you can be waiting for a while for those sites to rank on Google, there’s no way around that. BAM offers the same training on lead gen websites also, but Josh throws a different spin on it as far as finding the right niche and scaling it out.
What also sets BAM apart from JK is the training on building your SEO Agency so that you can start making money right away from SEO deals while your waiting for your other sites to rank. Now, JK does also teach about building out your agency, but BAM is a lot more detailed about it.
Lastly, even though the group is smaller than JK, the activity among all the members in our Facebook group is just crazy. Without exaggeration, I have spent hours in the group just learning the nitty gritty details of everybody’s successes in the program.
So, if you have any questions or run into any brick walls, there’s always somebody else that has run into the same brick wall and is more than willing to help you out with it.
7,000 people is quite a lot. I’m sure the value is there within JK, but I would like a tighter knit community kinda like you guys said. Josh’s youtube channel for BAM University is insane by the way. As far as I can tell he’s got videos going out every day! I’m glad to see it because just like that michael guy said, a lot of other groups I joined were just plain dead after I got in.

Full disclosure: I’m in the course. Before I joined I was probably more skeptical than the average person. I read all the Joshua t osborne reviews and bam reviews I could find. With all the negative reviews coming from people that said they weren’t in the course and all the positive reviews coming from people in bam digital marketing…I figured there had to be something to all those positive reviews. When I hopped on a call with one of their coaches they actually let me into the group to get a sneak peak with all the activity. That’s what sold me personally. I need a group to hold me accountable. All those other programs I tried just weren’t active and I felt like I was on a island. That said, Josh is definitely an acquired taste, he’s hilarious.
I’ve joined Joshua Osbornes bad ass marketing program after reading this review. So I decided to come back and give anyone else who reads this my little inside info. I think the support in the group is insane considering other programs like modern millionaires or digital storefronts. Also if you check out his youtube channel, just search “Joshua T Osborne” or something like that and you’ll find it, you’ll see a bunch of videos with people in his live streams. The Bam university cost is pretty affordable considering everything else thats comparable on the market to imo.
I’ve looked up Joshua t osborne reviews and bam reviews every where online. From as far as I can tell this is the only review with some people actually in the course commenting on it. Theres that one thread on reddit, but everyone talking smack on there doesn’t seem to actually be in the course. So can one of you guys who’s in it please let me know your honest opinion?
Hey Jordan, I’m in the program. The bam digital real estate model is for real and Joshua Osborne does everything he can to help guide and support you. I’ve been in for about 4 months now and I’m clearing about $4,500 after my expenses. Revenue is in the 6k range right now. I’ve built this up by myself and haven’t had to outsource anything. I’m sure I will eventually but it’s not killing me on time right now. If you’re worried about how much badass marketers cost, I honestly wouldn’t worry about it. If you want in, they make it happen one way or another. The main thing is that you got to be ready to learn and take that time. If you’re wondering “would you do it all over again?” the answer is 100% yes. Feels good to go in and give the good ole’ F YOU to your boss after 2 years of the BS job. Now I’m financially independent thanks to bam digital real estate.

All the other Joshua Osborne bam reviews I’ve seen tend to be hit pieces. Glad to see that this blog actually shows all the positive comments and keeps expectations realistic.

Sorry for the late response, I try to let most comments go through. But I’ve been getting hit with a lot of bots recently and have gone back to manual approval. As far as this being one of his lead generation pages, it is not. He has lead generation websites in roofing, plumbing, tree service, etc. Hope this helps.
Ok bet. So all those other sites like the dailysem just block out positive comments. Good to know. I saw this joshua t osborne digital real estate stuff a good while before I ended up joining. I had the same fears of it being just another guru with all the marketing bs. But to be honest I’m very happy with my decision to join. These other bam reviews don’t do the program justice. But it’s understandable, they’re trying to push their own stuff. I would just like a little more transparency. Kind of how like this blog allows all comments. I’ve got 10 of those digital real estate assets up now. Feeling pretty good about it and where I’m going.

Yeah I don’t mind. Before talking about bam digital marketing I wanted to give it a fair shake. I’ve been in for about 5 months now. I’ve been building out 2 sites a month part time as I’m still full time with my day job. 6/10 of my sites are on page one and I have them each rented out for a clean $1000 per month. My goal is once I get 10 sites all rented out, I quit my job. Hopefully by the end of this year. Hope this helps!

Ironically, I found out about this opportunity from a reviewer about a MLM company and he gave a pitch about this company. But if this is a great opportunity then ok. I will check out the video on this page and go from there.

I’m really wanting to, but I know it’s going to take some convincing for my husband. I currently stay at home with our kids and while it would be perfect to add to our income, the initial investment will be a big sticker shock for my husband. Worth it, I’m sure, as most here (including you now) attest to, but still a good chunk of change to put forward. I’m praying about it though. I’m SO glad I joined when I did. I set up some websites right away since I still had my day job. Just over 30 days in I had 2 of my 5 initial sites bringing in consistent leads. I got on a call with contractors local to me and now I get $2500 per month total from both each month. I’ve essentially increased my income by 50%. I make 5k per month before taxes, now I’m at 7500. If you could join, I highly recommend it!
Other Joshua t osborne reviews seem to have it out for him. Bam reviews as well. After reading this comment section the only logical conclusion I can come to is that he’s the real deal and when you do so much good, no matter what, you’re always gonna attract some trolls.
Yeah one review site I can think of that I’ve been before is the dailysem. That dude doesn’t seem to approve comments on his joshua osborne bam reviews. I’ve tried like 3 times now. Makes me wonder if the guy is purposefully not approving comments or really just awol from the blog since it gets so much traffic.

The Joshua Osborne Bad Ass Marketers program is probably the best on the market in my opinion. I joined a few months ago after looking, and actually joining, comparable programs. In my opinion what sets bam digital marketing apart from these other programs is the support. I’ve seen Josh and his team literally go live in the group 5 days a week at one point. If you know of another group that can offer that kind of time and support, that’d be news to me!
bam digital real estate is the way to go. I came across an ad a few months ago, did some research and hopped in. The program didn’t break my bank and I’ve recouped my investment and then some!

I was just never able to find anything online that was positive about those guys. However, this dudes internet presence seems to be overwhelmingly positive. Has to be real.

Yep, not to mention since this course seems to be all the craze now people will try disuading others by trying to talk about the bam university cost. It still bothers me that people think anything worth while like this would be offered for free. When people are given free shit they simply don’t pay attention or even try. This has been proven in psychological studies over and over again.
I’ve seen a couple other digital real estate reviews out there. I’ve been youtubing the crap out of it in all honesty. Found this sites video of the joshua osborne bad ass marketers program in my recommended section, and followed the link in the description to here. I thought the video was thorough…this is next level. Plus I’ve never seen so many comments on an article besides all those BS wealthy affiliate ones. And who really believes in affiliate marketing anymore?

Found this Joshua T Osborne Digital real estate thing while reading one of this blogs cryptocurrency articles. They’ve got a good point, crypto might actually make you some money…but the income is always so active and you never fully control. You could gain, or lose, everything overnight no matter how hard you try. I really like the idea about being able to fly under googles radar and have full control over ranking local websites. AND it’s passive!

Seriously though, if you’re reading this and are really that concerned on price…don’t be. This program gave me ROI than my college degree ever did and I spent $100k on that degree. Still hard to swallow that one. The Bam university price is literally nothing in comparison.
